This woman is deaf, she lost most of her hearing at age 12. She is a most extraordinary percussionist. She teaches "HOW TO LISTEN and interpret what you play. She is AMAZING in every sense of the word !
It doesn't matter what instrument you play, you will get something out of this that WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER MUSICIAN !
After watching this video you might understand better why I will only play acoustic drums. The nuances available on acoustic drums allow for "feel" or "interpretation" that an electric kit won't permit.
