Are there any guys in the Altoona area that do fretwork. The frets on my bass are raised up at the ends. It drove me friggin nuts at first because I had some string buzz on my lows and highs, but my neck was arrow straight and the action was relatively high. Then I was cleaning the bass and found all this gunk under the tips of the frets. When I cleaned some of it away, there was a gap btn the bottom of the fret and the fingerboard. I don't know if its because of the frets being brass or because of the wenge fingerboard, or anything else. I just want someone to fix it. I tried to tap them back in myself with no success. I have'n't had the best luck with frets on other instruments, so I want a pro to do it (at a cheap price of course!).
Any recommendations???
Thanks Y'all
Dan
