Xlink connects your cell phone(s) to your cordless phone system so that you can answer or make calls from anywhere in your house no matter where your cell phone is.
I dropped my land line. But I have four cordless phones throughout the house. I added an old cell phone to my ATT for $10 a month and ported my land line phone number to it.
Via Bluetooth technology with Xlink my cell phone is connected to all of my cordless phones around my house. I can make and take calls on all of my cordless phones and via Xlink the calls are routed through my cell phone.
You can connect as many as three cell phones to the Xlink system.
Anyone discovered / use Xlink for cell phones ? It's cool...

That's the beauty of technology... Doing everything that you need to do with peripherals these days is just going out of control! I thought it was cool that you could hook everything up to one TV, and then run it all from across the room. That technology is looking second rate compared to what is going on behind the scenes right now!

The industry term is a cellular gateway. Some cordless phone manufacturers have them built in. I was seriously considering doing this, but the signal at my house, and my wife's reluctance of giving up the land line made me keep wired.
