What a shame. He was a great guy and a talented musician. His wife taught me in grade school. A classy woman. Say a prayer for Mary Ann and her children.

So sad. Exceptionally nice person.

Tom custom built guitars. About 8 or 10 years ago, he and cousin Brian Nipps used some kind high tech scanner to scan a paisley pattern for one of Brad Paisley's road guitars. He was at that level.

About 8 years ago I wanted to dress-up a 180 buck Fender Afirmity Squire Tele for a Stones project and Tom walked me throught it. I stripped the neck, stained it, and added an earily 60's Fender logo. Then lacquered it. Tom lent me 2 cans of nitrocellulose lacquer. They're still at the house.

The Squire.

Sad to see him pass. I recall a few times Evie and I would go hear Stillwater at the 4 Dees a few years back. Great talent and all around good guy. He will be missed by all who knew him.
I love it when a plan comes together.

I did not know Tom, but loved to enjoy Stillwater whenever they played at the 4 D's. That was one talented band.
