Pure and simple you hated Alex Smith and Tim Tebow for the very same reason. He won and you lost. And you are a very very sore loser.
YOU GOT NO GAME, JOIN FLACCO OBVIOUS
Well let's call a spade a spade here. I'm having a battle of wits with an unarmed person. There is 3 QB's you repeatedly said sucked. Joe Flacco, Tim Tebow, and Alex Smith. Besides 'sucking' what else do they have in common? 4-0 against Pittsburgh last year. Coincidence?

One note about the Flacco interview, from somebody who totally got what he said... Effectively, he realizes that there are callibre levels, and that offensively, he didn't put the same high numbers up as what Brees and Rodgers put up. He pointed out that he realizes that there are people that do have better numbers, better percentages, etc. than him. With all of that said, he then pointed out that he is confident in himself, and that's what the "I'm the best" speech is about. It isn't an ego trip, it's making it clear that he does know what he's capable of. He's his favorite QB

Believe me on this... If the guy plays at least like he did last year, the Ravens may very well see a chance at redemption for the boggles they made 3 short months ago. Carrying that confidence in himself, he KNOWS he can do it

Every player in the NFL and all the wannbes "believe in themselves", thaat and $4.50 will get you a cup of latest mocha mochasimo at starbucks :D

Flacco isn't putting up the #'s that of the elite quaterbacks, he admits it. Well, THATS what it takes to call yourself and BE CALLED an elite! A marquee quarterback! He hasn't put up the #'s so he aint't, i could care less if he thinks he's a fottball God.(actually Tebow already took that ahah) He is no elite quaterback.

Arguing with you is becoming an uphill battle because you just don't have any football knowledge. Does the guy put up Brees/Rogers numbers? NO He also doesn't play in the kind of offense that asks him to!!! Baltimore is a run first offense...with a strong defense. Only been that way for 2 decades now. Green Bay and New Orleans are a pass first offense...so is New England. None of those teams have a Ray Rice to run the ball or one of the best defenses in the game. When you run the ball and play solid defense you're not going to pass for 5000 yards. It's about ball control and making smart decisions. Aka don't turn it over...play field position...throw the ball away or put it where either your guy catches it or no one does. Flacco excels at that. But again your knowledge of football is about enough to fill a thimble so explaining this to you is probably pretty pointless.

The Dirty Birds are a run first offense because Flacco can't put up the #'s. It's not the other way around. They must depend more on Rice to get it done. Do you think that if they had a real quarterback like Peyton Manning thay would throw less? C'mon man..think! This isn't about arcane "football knowledge" but common sense.

Could 2012 Be Joe Flacco's Final Season with the Team?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1140 ... h-the-team

"So naturally at an important stage of these negotiations, Flacco says that he's the best quarterback in the NFL.

It's a baffling comment for Flacco to make even in more ordinary circumstances. At this point in his career with zero MVP wins, zero Super Bowl wins and zero Pro Bowl appearances, it's pretty clear that Flacco isn't the best quarterback in the NFL. Even the most diehard Ravens fan will be hard pressed to come up with an argument otherwise."

8) Couldn't have said it better myself. Flacco is on his way out!

Was Troy Aikman considered a real quarterback? Would you say that Troy Aikman was considered to be elite? Just answer me that once.

Is Big Ben the best QB drafted in the last 10 years?

You're an NFL general manager. Who do you want leading your team? Here's our list:

1. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers (No. 11, 2004)

4. Philip Rivers, Giants (traded to Chargers) (No. 4, 2004)
5. Cam Newton, Panthers (No. 1, 2011)
6. Matt Ryan, Falcons (No. 3, 2008)
7. Matthew Stafford, Lions (No. 1, 2009)

11. Joe Flacco, Ravens (No. 18, 2008)
12. Mark Sanchez, Jets (No. 5, 2009)
13. Alex Smith, 49ers (No. 1, 2005)
14. Josh Freeman, Buccaneers (No. 17, 2009)
15. Jason Campbell, Redskins (No. 25, 2005)

So you're saying Flacco doesn't have the numbers? Is that the horse you are backing? Just answer me that because I am about to embarass the crap outta you with KNOWLEDGE and STATS...not copy and pasting the opinions of 2 guys. Just answer me that....you are saying Flacco doesn't have good stats therefore he isn't a good QB?
