Big Ben's my fav Q-back. He's Joe Montana on steroids (so to speak) in my book! Mr Clutch and tougher than a barrel of nails!UNEARTHA7XMatt wrote:Ben is Garbage!!!!!!!!!!!! He has receivers! Thats what makes him good!jetcitywoman wrote:http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1052 ... ks/page/36

Just fuhgetaboutit Matt. You can't win with this one. She lives in her own world, far, far, away from the one we inhabit!!UNEARTHA7XMatt wrote:Ben is Garbage!!!!!!!!!!!! He has receivers! Thats what makes him good!jetcitywoman wrote:http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1052 ... ks/page/36

Peyton signed with da Broncs! Tebow is out. Never much of qback anyway.
Here's an interesting notion I had however, is it time for the creation of a "short yardage" Qback? brilliant, huh
back to Peyton, as much as i dislike the Hairball brothers he should have singed with 49ers, that give him best chance for another ring.

it kills me Suckko thinks he's a player, but clearly he is not
I would hardly liken 35-7 as a stroke of luck. What do you want Flacco to say? I'm no good....cut me?! I'd want my starting quarterback to have that confidence he exudes. You don't want the guy back there leading the team thinking.....ehhhhh I'm okay at best. You should let the football discussions up to people that have actually played the game. I don't discuss politics because I don't understand them....you shouldn't discuss football because you don't understand it.jetcitywoman wrote:not really. flipping heads twice is no big feat. try it.sstuckey wrote:It kills you knowing he beat ya twice last year doesn't it?jetcitywoman wrote:Dirty Birds are dissing Flacco..

uhh maybe take his cue from one of the true marquee quarterbacks and be a bit humble and self-effacing? You never heard Big Ben stroke himself like that, and never will.[/list]sstuckey wrote:I would hardly liken 35-7 as a stroke of luck. Didn't realize what you said deserved a rebuttal to be honest. I just figured it was another one of your "I hate this guy because he beat me team" crybaby fits. But if you believe you deserve a rebuttal, I can oblige. Just because Ben doesn't SAY he's the best in the game, doesn't mean he doesn't THINK he is. Each and every player that puts a helmet on his head on Sundays, takes the field believing in themselves. If they didn't, I sure as hell wouldn't want them playing on my team!!!jetcitywoman wrote:wow what brilliant rebut bet your all the conservationist rage at the dinner partysstuckey wrote:I thought I told you to go away and leave the football discussions to the people that actually understand football!

do you believe in yourself? Of course you do. Do you go around saying how you are so much better than everyone else and genrally making a bore of yourself?sstuckey wrote:Didn't realize what you said deserved a rebuttal to be honest. maybe you do.
Flacco's ego is writing checks his ability can't cash. If your thaat great you don't need to say it. Speaks for itself
Nobody has ever asked me. These guys are under constant scrutiny and the public eye. The guy is trying to get a contract extension, and much like any job interview, you want your employer to think "I am the BEST man for the job". So even if a lot of what he said wasn't taken out of context, or edited to highlight the "arrogant responses", he is telling the GM..."I'm the best man for the job". And it's really hard to argue that statement since Baltimore is always a playoff contender, since they drafted the guy!! And was one Lee Evans drop in the endzone away from playing in the Super Bowl.jetcitywoman wrote:do you believe in yourself? Of course you do. do you actually think the GM of any pro-football team is that dumb? he knows what Flacco acn and, more importantly, CANT do. That's why they have him on the back burner dipshitsstuckey wrote:Nobody has ever asked me. These guys are under constant scrutiny and the public eye. You have to have complete blinders on if you think they aren't going to retain Flacco's services as a quarterback. Playoff contender year after year. The kicker and Lee Evans cost them their chance to go to the Superbowl. Just admit it...you hate any team and any player that beats your team. Pure and simple you hated Alex Smith and Tim Tebow for the very same reason. He won and you lost. And you are a very very sore loser.
