Mr. Dependable retired. He will be missed. I can't wait to see him in the hall of fame.

He was a good receiver but he won't be in the hall of fame. I liked watching Hines play...so it's not an anti-Steeler situation, it's just he didn't have a hall of fame career. Too many other GREAT receivers out there still waiting for their inductions. Cris Carter for instance. How the hell is he NOT in the hall of fame?!jetcitywoman wrote:Vote for Hines Ward in Hall of Fame! He deserves it!

I didn't stutter Rockpage is screwing up yet again. I said Hines was a good receiver and yes he was a clutch player and fun to watch. But if it took Art Monk and Michael Irvin a hundred years to get inducted...and players like Cris Carter (all he does is catch touchdowns) and Andre Reed (4 Super Bowl appearances) are STILL waiting to get in. Hines won't be elected....good player...just not HOF calibre. Nothing against him just a lot of receivers that are a bit more worthy still on the waiting list....with others sure to follow. Marvin Harrison, Terrell Owens, Randy Moss to name a few.jetcitywoman wrote:do i stutter
he is THE epitome of the clutch player..that alone should award him hall of famer
