Are you kidding!!!!! This is NOT great news...It's terrible news... Quality will suffer and fender will return to the CBS days. Incorporating is all about pleasing the investors and investors only care about profit. They don't take pride in quality of workmanship. Quality will suffer as a result. Skilled workmen will be replaced by machines. This is the beginning of the end for Fender. I look for the low end stuff to go the way of first act and be sold at walmart because of its brand power. Wait and see...
On the flip side, now is the time to buy up any used fender USA strat you can find. I GUARANTEE that your return on investment in ten years will be WAY higher than if you buy fender stock.

I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. But looking at it in a individual investor stand point, it is good. I don't necessarily think quality will come down. But, like I said, we will have to wait and see.hicksjd9 wrote:Are you kidding!!!!! This is NOT great news...It's terrible news... Quality will suffer and fender will return to the CBS days.
