I've never heard them before, I like the band's guitar sound. I don't like the way she sings that song really. She reminds me of an Evil Alanis Morrisette for some reason. Good stuff though, thanks.

Decent band. Course then again, I've always had an affinity for women in music. But, they really have a good, spread-out feel. Never too big on guitar riffs, but they do have a decent sound

I'm not usually one to resurrect old Rockpage threads, but I have been really digging Lacuna Coil lately. I recently bought their last album, Shallow Life and can't get enough of it! And I'm also really liking "Trip the Darkness" off their new Dark Adrenaline CD; Cristina Scabbia's vocal and the song arrangement have an almost operatic quality, almost like metal opera...Dark Adrenaline may well be my next CD purchase.

He probably hadn't known about them. We don't always catch the biggest things when they happen. Sometimes, we end up finding about them years past their greatness. Take Jmi Hendrix. I don't know about you, but I didn't hear about Hendrix til LOOONG after his passing. Are you telling me that Hendrix shouldn't be recognized now, many years after his passing???

Kayla, it means....

jetcitywoman = rockaway = nosurrender. The same person who keeps annoying the living piss out of all of us, and then either goes away or gets banned, stays off for about six months, then comes up with some new name and comes back. It's like an STD, it's never really gone. Same lame person, same lame posts, same lame insults, and too stupid to get a clue that they are neither wanted nor needed here.

They will be part of Dave Mustaine's GIGANTOUR featuring Megadeth, Motorhead, Volbeat, Lacuna Coil!

I've seen Lacuna Coil about four times...great live band...and...she's reeeealllllly easy on the eyes!

Thanks jetcitywoman for that...I think.

Anyway, I used a $25 gift card from Best Buy and bought the new Lacuna Coil and Volbeat's CD this week. I'm pretty blown away by the Lacuna Coil disc, this band really has found their niche and identity, and moved their sound forward on Dark Adrenaline. (I haven't popped Volbeat in the CD player yet, but will shortly.)

Then this afternoon, I noticed a used copy of Lacuna Coil's Karmacode on sale at FYE, so I grabbed it as well. I may not have paid attention to Lacuna Coil in 2007, but I'm more than making up for it now!

VOLBEAT = one of the best bands out there right now! All of their CDs are amazing!!! Be careful...once the cd is played...you'll be addicted!

The best thing Lars Ulrich has done in the past 20 years...request that VOLBEAT be the opening band for Metallica a couple years back! However...I thank the Denmark connection more.
