I am thinking of a song. This song was released in the early 70's by a tv star, it went to number one. It was then released in the early 90's by a country star, in which it went to number 12. Can you name the song and the who performed it.

Yes, it was 'The nights went out in georgia". It was first done by Vicky Lawrence, and then done by Reba McEntire. You guys are too smart for me. I have to think of a hard one.

I thought they called themselves "The Beatle", but there was a reason they couldn't. I'm probably wrong, though.
