Bummin' about Mushroomhead
Bummin' about Mushroomhead
I guess a couple of the members quit (Pig Benis and Gravy) and are being replaced by 2 new guys (Thing 1 and Thing 2). This sucks ass. I got to know both of them fairly well and they were very cool dudes. This truly sucks monkey balls.
In my opinion...one of the best live club bands around. Great stage show. I've seen Mushroomhead so many times and have had the honor of booking some of the bands I once managed as openers. That does suck.

Tommy Church (Thing 1) used to be in The Autumn Offering. I had them into Ace's twice. So he's a seasoned touring musician. Don't know anything about Ryan Farrell (Thing 2).

No doubt man. Jmann definitely added a different feel to their music...that Waylon just doesn't have.LIMB BY LIMB wrote:I was really bummed when Jmann stopped touring..Why did pig benis and gravy leave?? I honestly have no idea why they left. Last I talked to them I knew they were going to make some changes. But my money was on stitch because he doesn't really do anything that Schmotz couldn't handle.
I also knew Gravy wasn't really digging it because his style wasn't fitting the band. He has a different music background more centered around guitar riffs and he had to back it down a notch to play with MH. And he wasn't super thrilled with that.
But the jaw dropper for me was Pig. He's like one of the original members. I kinda should have seen this coming with all the 'side projects' these guys were getting into. 216, Ventana, Jeff has some other band now too.
And yeah man I couldn't agree with you more....Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children....not one of their better efforts.
