I try but for life of me i can't do it. I can't get the ball to hook..and I refuse to do it with a straight ball. I did bowl once with this big guy that threw a completely strait ball, but with such force the pins would explode on contact. He was amazing and threw many strikes for that reason alone..pure energy.

I love to bowl. I flip-flip between Pleasant Valley and Holiday here in Altoona. I used to bowl only like a 125, but a friend of mine came out and helped me....now I am averaging about a 180. I have my good days and bad days, but hey. 197 is pretty good for a casual bowler. did you need help with something?

I pretty much grew up in a bowling alley. My Dad owned one from the time I was 10 until I was around 24. I worked there for him from 16 on and also worked there for the new owner before getting into trucking. My best league average ever was around 221. Most times I was around 212/215. (which, at the time was good enough to try the tour) I have 2 sanctioned 300 games and 1 non. I haven't bowled in a league now for 5 or 6 years though.
You don't shoot a man in the dick!
I bowled in a couple ten pin leagues in Johnstown in my 20s and gave it up due to not having time to do it anymore. I still have my bowling ball and shoes. We have a duck pin bowling alley in Johnstown too and tried that a few times. Duck pins are harder with the smaller bowling balls and pins but still fun.
