As far as new ones, Big Bang Theory is friggin funny!
I don't watch much TV anymore, but from the few eps I have seen, that would be my pick from newer ones. I like geek humor...its so...cerebral.

Every freaking episode was premised on his womanizing it got very boring quickly. The lines were stale and predicable, the writers 3rd rate

Maybe it's more of a " I wish I could sit around all day writing jingles, drinking beer and nailing hot chicks." Either way, I enjoy. :D

I guess nothing stopping the drinking and I suppose I could write jingles on my guitar. The wife probably wouldn't like me nailing hot chicks all day and then there's the matter of not getting my huge paychecks for the jingles I haven't started writing yet. Now I gotta hankerin for a little two and a half men laughter!

M.A.S.H., not because I liked the show, but because it made a great drinking game! The character Radar actually had one hand that was smaller than the other, and hid it most of the time during the show. But every once in a while, he'd slip up and you'd get a glance of it. So, you would hang out with a group of your friends, alcohol was involved of course, and the first one to spot Radar's unfortunate malformity would yell out "Radar's little hand", and everyone else would have to chug!!! You could get pretty ripped during one of those episodes! If you don't believe me, watch a few shows!

Oh, two other new ones that deserve honorable mention:

House (can't you tell?)
Breaking Bad

Edit:

I guess these aren't really sitcoms...more like comedy-dramas.

I dislike most sitcoms, they tend to be extremely lowbrow and boring to me, however, there are a few that I think are pretty interesting. I love all the animated ones: Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, Futurama, the Simpsons, Archer, Metalocalypse, Drawn Together, and Code Monkeys.
The Big Bang Theory is also one of my favorites, older ones are Frasier, Monk, Seinfeld, Reno 911...what would you define as sitcoms necessarily? I would put stuff like Fawlty Towers, Are you being served, Spaced, and other Britcoms on here. Also, I love older shows like the Munsters, I love Lucy, and the Addams Family.
I'd love to put Dexter on here though I don't think most people would consider it a comedy...but I think its hilarious...thats creepy and I watch too much TV.

For me, it's probably a toss up between All in the Family and Seinfeld. RENO 911 was great, along with Scrubs. Animated "sitcoms", I'll go with Beavis and Butthead, South Park, Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, and especially older Looney Tunes. The non-sitcom category...Monty Python's Flying Circus and Benny Hill. Last but certainly not least... The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, amd TOSH.0.

Going back to some older shows. The Munsters is an all time favorite along with The Addams Family, Get Smart, and The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and Top Cat were all animated sitcoms.

In the sketch comedy shows category, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Benny Hill, The Red Skelton Show, Hee Haw, Laugh In, and The Carol Burnett Show.

The Office (prefer Steve Carell, but not too bad without him)
Up All Night - (new show on NBC, Will Arnett, Christina Applegate, Maya Rudolph)
American Dad
Family Guy
Bob's Burgers
The War at Home (cancelled)

Has anyone seen that show "Rob" with Rob Schneider and Cheech Marin? Just curious to see how it is. Apparently, I keep missing it...or maybe it's not even on yet, I don't know.
