Going Overseas

Hey guys and girls,

I gotta say that I will miss the Rockpage. I am going to Iraq for a year. Arguing or not, I enjoyed the topics and discussion on this board. Hopefully I'll get to check the site out while I'm over there. Peace out and Keep on rockin!!!!

Damn... please be careful man. What branch are you in? You should go over and say, "Look...they need me in PA! I'm an important musician! I am! Let me stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" or inform them that you're bringing a couple hundred of your closest friends and we're going to rock out over there. If guns won't bring peace, maybe some Jimmy Buffet could do the trick...?

Yeah, a whole year without booze and live rock and roll!! It's all good though. I am from the 876th Engineer Battalion Charlie Company, PA National Guard based near Johnstown airport. I'm not too worried though. Just ready to get my time in country started. Gonna try to get those Iraqis into moshing!!
