Bill Hinzman, the first zombie to appear in "Night of the Living Dead", has passed away at age 75. Bill often joked that when they buried him, he'd return.

Maybe he will make a cameo appearance in the new season of The Walking Dead, which starts Sunday. Mr. Hinzman was the first in a long line of zombies. The producers and special effects people on The Walking Dead show and the creator of the graphic novel series have all cited George Romero and Night Of The Living Dead and his other movies as major influences on them.
