Super Bowl predictions?
Any predictions for the Super Bowl tonight? I say the Pats will win by either a touch down or a field goal.
As for the half-time show. Who is watching it? I will be watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.

I am hoping for a good game. I really don't have a preference, although I am inclined to pull for New England since a Super Bowl win might help Bill O'Brien with future PSU recruiting.
I'm not excited about this year's halftime, but since I expect to be watching the game at a public place, I may have to endure it. It might be like a bad accident scene, you want to turn away from it, but keep looking back to see the carnage.
Prediction: The Giants are playing at a high level right now, and who knows how effective Gronkowski will be for the Patriots with his high ankle sprain? Still, I think the revenge incentive from their last Super Bowl meeting may energize Brady to a higher level of determination to get it done, as well as everybody declaring the Patriots as underdogs. I'll go with Patriots 30, Giants 28.

I was all for the Giants in this one. However, when the Pats let the Giants get the touchdown, I was worried...and no it wasn't insane. If Bradshaw got stopped short of a TD then Giants can run the clock to about 20-25 seconds and pretty much seal the Patriots fate with the FG. You may hate Brady, but dude has got some mad skills and he could've easily made that game real interesting if Welker and Hernandez didn't drop those passes. Even that hail mary had me on the edge of my seat. The ball was about a foot away from Gronk catching the deflection. I have to say as much as I wanted a Ravens/49ers game, this was a pretty darn good super bowl.jetcitywoman wrote:Bellicheat needs to go. It's rumored he allowed the Giants TD in final minute to save more time on the clock for his offensive possession. Insane!
Although, I was really thinking Jason Pierre-Paul would've gotten the MVP of the Super Bowl. Not that Eli didn't deserve it, I just thought JPP was more deserving of it.

Great Game!
For Football fans that was a great game! The game was good for the sport and just good..
Awesome show by both Top Rate Quarterbacks and really pretty good guys. Nice to see two teams go at it like that for 60 minutes.
I am a Manning fan, but I sure would not have been unhappy with Brady picking up his Fourth..
Good Day for Football!

The Giants wanted a TD to put themselves up 5 points ...thats why they were still running the ball HARD rather than taking the "knee". now the PATS need a TD to win (with less than a minute) rather than a field goal which is much more achievable. The Giants needed 8 or 9 yards for the TD..and what do the PATS do they LET them score the TD??!! Insane!Dragan Kalasa wrote:I was all for the Giants in this one. Force the fumble, make the goal line stance, block the field, pick the ball..plenty of ways this might have worked out (happens all the time) but don't let them just walk right in from 9 yard line! Insane! Bellicheat must go! He'as been making questionable decisions all season.

Brady's wife places the blame for the loss squarely on PATS receivers..
I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times. My husband can not f**king throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time."

Hey sweety .how about the rookie mistake offering up the safety on first play of the game? How about the pick your hubby should never have thrown?

Whoops...I meant Branch and Hernandez. Although, Welker can usually make that leaping catch. As for Bradshaw's touchdown run, I'm not going to explain to you why it wasn't insane. Maybe you missed it, but if you watched the Super Bowl, Cris Collinsworth explained the entire situation as it was unfolding and it made very clear sense for a team with their back against the wall.jetcitywoman wrote:The Giants wanted a TD to put themselves up 5 points ...thats why they were still running the ball HARD rather than taking the "knee". now the PATS need a TD to win (with less than a minute) rather than a field goal which is much more achievable. Cris Collinsworth is wrong. I've heard him make reasoning errors a few other times this past season too. Why were the Giants still running hard rather than taking a knee on their 9 yard line? They could have fumbled..answer they wanted the TD and the PATS gave it to them on a silver platter. Stupid.Dragan Kalasa wrote:Whoops...I meant Branch and Hernandez.
