Music Trivia - The Doors.

Post by f.sciarrillo »

We all know that the Doors were a great a band. And I would guess that we all like them? We also know that that Ray Manzarek played bass on his keyboard for quite a few of their song, however, on the songs "Soul Kitchen", "Twentieth Century Fox","Back Door Man", "I Looked At You", and "Take It As It Comes" there is a bass player who was uncredited. Can you tell me who that bass player was?

Not correct, Merge, keep trying though. I know that someone knows it :)

Jack Conrad was a touring musician with them. But he wasn't on any of their albums.

That is right, Joe. He did play with Elvis. He was a session musician who also played with Simon & Garfunkel, Duane Eddy, The Beach Boys, The Mamas & the Papas, and The Partridge Family. He was a full time member of a popular 70's group. If anyone can tell me who they were, they are the kings of music trivia.

Come on, I know some one knows his name :)
