Yates picks are an excellent example of what i am saying. especially his last is on point. However YOU would attribute thos to great defensive play when in fact any clueless pair of hands could have picked him.jetcitywoman wrote:"2 of which went for TDs"..sounds great on paper doesn't it..except one of them was from the 2 tard line after the Texans special teams freaked up royally.sstuckey wrote:Flacco's QB rating is 97.2!! 6 completions, 2 of which were for TD's. NO interceptions. Does he put up Drew Brees numbers? NO And he's not supposed to, that's not ravens football. Play smart that's all they ask of Joe and he's doing just that so far.jetcitywoman wrote: Defenses always get too much credit for turnovers. I take it back..Flacco is truly an elite Qback..he's 6 for 15 @ the half
Look past the headlines and see where those stats came from.
Why do you think they are running Rice more..because Flacco is kicking ass??? c'mon man
Bullshit!

No. Not the only stat that matters otherwise they wouldn't keep stats or have Qback ratings.sstuckey wrote:The only stat that matters is points. Flacco has provided 14. 1 more than Houston has. He's doing his job and Baltimore is winning. That's why they run the ball more.....duh!!!!!! No matter to me I knew the Texans would lose because they are another example of a team that shouldn't even be in the PO's..along with the "Niners", belated Broncs and Dirty Birds.
You do realize that all four teams that you named that 'shouldn't be in the playoffs' beat the Steelers at one point throughout the season.jetcitywoman wrote: No matter to me I knew the Texans would lose because they are another example of a team that shouldn't even be in the PO's..along with the "Niners", belated Broncs and Dirty Birds.
Texans
Niners
Broncos
Ravens
So your point makes no sense, and before you say it I'm a Steeler fan, but unlike you I'm realistic.

If the Packers lose today and I don't think they will for a lot of reasons one good one is Eli manning is another highly overrated "Flacco" type. I definiely don't agree with the consensus "experts" he's great. But if they do New Englands takes another ring home. No one else can beat NE..not the Niners, Dirty Birds, and definitely not the Giants. Manning is overrated he might be 8th or 9th out of top ten..very inconsistent definitely "Flacco" status.
However, the Packers WILL win and i's NW vs GB in the Superbowl.
I'll let you know which (NE or GB) wins the SB in another week after I dissect the next games. But it is definitely one of those. I'll narrow it down after another week of play!

Final score is the most important stat ya frikkin nit wit!!! At this point I assume you argue just to argue. And you keep saying the Niners don't belong. Top 5 defense. Top 10 rated QB. And a top 10 running game. Why DON'T they deserve to be there seeing as they only lost 3 games all year. Is it because they BEAT your beloved Steelers and you are still butt hurt?!!jetcitywoman wrote:No. Not the only stat that matters otherwise they wouldn't keep stats or have Qback ratings.sstuckey wrote:The only stat that matters is points. There's your superbowl prediction...as you stated FLAWLESS analysis.jetcitywoman wrote:Complete NFL Playoff predictions..
places The Steelers vs The Packers in the Superbowl!
With a STEELER WIN!
ck it out..flawless analysis imo

"Both teams are geared up for one last championship run with this core of players. At their best, I do believe the Steelers are the better team. I cannot buy the the Ravens as a Super Bowl winner because of two words: Joe Flacco. I cannot trust him until he proves me wrong on the biggest stage. Until that happens, the Steelers just have too big of an advantage at the most important position. "

Yea I think different!f.sciarrillo wrote:The Giants won tonight. This week and next week will be the only times I ever root for them. I still say it will be the Giants and New England in the Super Bowl. Anyone think different?
Niners vs Pats with a Pats win.
Manning played way over his head last game..he isn't that good. But neither are the Niners who will fall easily to the Pats.
Brady needs a fourth ring!

At this point I'm treating your 'predictions' like an M-16 assault rifle. If you fire off enough rounds....you're going to EVENTUALLY hit your target!!! I was going to cut n paste all of your wrong predictions, but it's going to be a LOT quicker to post the ones you got right and here they are........jetcitywoman wrote:Yea I think different!f.sciarrillo wrote:The Giants won tonight. (awkward silence, crickets chirp)
And there ya have it.
One thing I did notice though in all your ramblings during this thread is there is 3 teams you repeatedly discredited, and said they were playing over their heads. And 2 teams you repeatedly crowned this years Superbowl contenders.
The 3 teams you think suck? Baltimore, San Fran, and New York Giants. Which just so happens to be 3 of the remaining 4 teams. (SOLID analysis)
The 2 teams though you pronounce as unstoppable, and shoe-ins for this year's Superbowl? Pittsburgh and Green Bay. Neither of which won a single playoff game. One and done. (SOLID analysis)
You predict San Fran vs New England. So there ya have it. This year's Superbowl will be New York vs Baltimore. The only reason I say that is because you have YET to be right about anything!!

Music Rocks!
If I was a betting man (and I can be persuaded to that) and had a bookie, I'd start with betting any team to win that Jet bets to lose. With that said, it really wouldn't surprise me right now if it ends up being a Ravens/9ers Super Bowl, simply because of the way she's calling these shots. Now where is a good bookie since I've needed one?

I have to ask, why do you believe that the 49er's , the Broncos, and the Ravens "shouldn't even be in the playoffs"?? I have a pretty good idea of the real reason, but I'd like to hear your logic behind your opinion.I believe all 3 of those teams won their respective divisions, therefore obtaining a spot in the playoffs. Tell me, why shouldn't they have been in the playoffs??jetcitywoman wrote:No. Not the only stat that matters otherwise they wouldn't keep stats or have Qback ratings.sstuckey wrote:The only stat that matters is points. Although my prediction of a Packer repeat is shot, I'm hoping for a 49ers/Ravens Superbowl or Harbaugh-bowl II, especially after hearing like on every single sports debate program (PTI, Around the Horn, First Take, Mike and Mike, a couple gameday shows on NFL Network) that "defense wins games, but that doesn't really hold true with the likes of the Pats, Packers, and Saints". I would love to these two teams go at it one more time. I enjoyed their Thursday night game in November. A feel good football game. Brother vs. Brother, both QB's touted as underrated, stout defenses, great running games. Almost like Raven's would be fighting their reflections...OR...49ers would be fighting their reflections.
