It's with extreme regret that Atomic Blonde will not be able to play the Project Lifeboat because of scheduling difficulties. On Feb. 7 we emailed the project organizers in response to an email we received concerning scheduling and told them that the only conflict we had was that we couldn't play first. On Feb. 17 we received an email with our band scheduled at 4:20 p.m., which was great for us. The email said to respond if there were any conflicts. Since we were happy with our time slot, we felt no need to respond since we had already notified the organizers in an earlier email that the only conflict was if we were scheduled first in the 1 p.m. time slot.
On Feb. 21 I received another email, and surprise, surprise, we were changed to the 1 p.m. slot, the only time that we had told the organizers we couldn't play! When we talked to John and Trace both said that the schedule was "written in stone" and couldn't be changed. Yet, it was changed from two days before.
We are very disappointed that we will not be able to participate for this good cause. We were more than willing to donate our time, and we had also volunteered lights and equipment.
We have been playing in this area for a long time and have done a lot of benefits; those that we have gottten paid for, we have donated the money back to the charity we were playing for. We are always happy to donate our time and energy for a good cause.
We wish you all much succss with this project and we are sorry that we can't be with you on March 6.

Wow, 4:20 would be an AWESOME time to play a set.
Sorry about your set getting messed up. I know Trace well, and I'm sure that the mix-up was a pure accident. I'm definatley into the style of music you do and hope to catch you around on the areas stages.

Dont lose focus of what is really important. there is a lot of bands that wanted to do this but im sure they couldnt fit everyone in unless they made it a three day event. the main thing is its happening. great work to trace and john and whoever is involved. I hope to make it out sunday.Times like these just go to show how important the local music community is.

You're looking forward to what? the Mar. 6 event? or how Atomic Blonde responds to your less than appropriate suggestion.FiddlePicker wrote:Could you possibly donate from one of your upcoming shows to this benefit since you can't play with them at an agreeable time? I'm looking forward to this.
CUNTS will be CUNTS.
