It is treatable, but how much treatment can you give to an 84 year old man?

Another things thats bothering me......so many people each year get cancer. Where are the threads about them?
He is one of the people that can AFFORD to be treated & taken care of...so dont cry for him argentina.
What about the millions that just gotta suffer because they CANT afford treatment?
This is what im talking about, the picture is so much bigger than just the pinhole people are looking through.

Well Keith, If Bag gets diagnosed with lung cancer(which will probably happen, as I'm too much of a pussy to quit smoking) nobody will give a shit besides my immediate family. Joe on the other hand, has done more for Pa., and the Centre region than ANYONE since, well..... William Fucking Penn, so I guess it's ok if he gets more press than me.

Thats a shame Bag.
I quit smoking 8 months ago by using a Blu electronic cig. I still use it and its awesome. Im so happy I quit for many reasons. Theres nothing pussy about it man. You can do it!!!
My WHOLE point about about my post is that well known people and celebs are treated as their life is more important than everyone elses and it just isnt fair. Thats it. has nothing to do with PA. Or The Centre Region. Or Penn State. Its just celebs and well know people EVERYWHERE. Paterno was just the example in which I attached my opinion. sorry for the confusion.

I love it man. I couldnt quit smoking at all until I tried the blu. Its just like smoking a cig but without all the smell, harmful chemicals and money loss. I can breathe better and feel much better about myself. Im being serious. I will never go back to the disgusting smoking habit.
They have disposable ones at Sheetz. I havent tried those. I got a starter pack from blucigs.com because I knew id be in it for the long haul. It takes commitment and a real need to want to shed the nasty smoking habit....but its 110% possible.

I quit cigarettes over a year ago, but did the nico-gum. Got off the nico-gum when I got tongue ulcers and read the google headline "Lose Hair And Teeth With Nicotine Gum". I was completely off nicotine for a few months when Brulia brought cigars to a 4th of July party and I smoked one. Nicotine is just as addictive as heroin, so I went on nico-lozenges and after a few months, it aggravated by belly and it felt just like the beginnings of diverticulitis. I didn't feel like getting another section of my colon removed, so I started the e-Cig thing with Clayton. I chose them because they have 5 cartridges in pack for $10. They also have 16mg, 11mg and zero mg for when you want to quit.KeithReynolds wrote:I love it man. I couldnt quit smoking at all until I tried the blu. They have all the stuff at Smoker's Express. $25 for starter (3 cartridges), $10 for extra battery and $10 for 5 cartridges, which I guess is like 5 packs of cigarettes.
Keith, how many refill cartridges do you get for $10? How long does a cartridge last? The Claytons say 325 puffs on the refill pack.

In the world of journalism, it's called "prominence and eminence," one of the criteria for newsworthiness of an event. If it happens to a famous person, it's news and gets reported. Joe Paterno is a famous person, so his lung cancer gets reported. My WHOLE point about about my post is that well known people and celebs are treated as their life is more important than everyone elses and it just isnt fair. When I quit smoking 7 or 8 years ago,I used the Quest brand smokes. They had 3 levels...low,extra low and no nicotine. I smoked 3 or 4 packs of the low and extra low then switched to the no nicotine, didn't even smoke the whole pack. After that, for about a week or so I had to fight the "hand to mouth" urge, that was worse!! I haven't touch a cig. since and don't even consider them, even when we play or I'm around them, which is alot,I have no desire to light up. And considering I smoked for about 18 or 19 years and drive truck for a living I'd say I'm doing ok. I don't know if Quest still makes them but if they do they're worth getting.

You will not regret it. I have the black and blue one. Its awesome looking. The last time I ordered cartridges I got 5 pack of 5 for $40 with NO shipping.
They say one cartridge equals one pack of smokes, btu I dont smoke NEARLY as much as I did before. I was going through a pack a day or more when I was smoking real cigs. One blue cart lasts an avg 4 days for me, haha.
I REALLY dont smoke as much as I used to, and when i need to, its right there and I dont need to go outside in the cold or rain. PLUS im saving money since I dont spend $6 a day on smokes...PLUS ill live longer (in theory)...PLUS I dont smell like cigs anymore...PLUS I can breathe & smell better. There are no minuses at all.
