So,I work at a bar.... a guy threw a glass at the female bartender and got violent...a bouncer was escorting him out nicely. No one was touching him or being violent. He was the aggressor the entire time.
I was there for backup. The guy really erupting. Then all the sudden, the guy sucker punched me in the face!!!! I wasnt even looking at him!
Knocked my glasses off and everything. Long story short, he prob doesnt feel too good now!!!
If I had been aggressive, I wouldve seen it coming and blocked it or moved. But I RRRREALLY didnt think I was gonna get hit for nothing.
If youre gonna sucker punch someone, make sure youre tough enough to knock them out. He DID hit hard, but obviously not hard enough, haha.
I was so pissed off after everything happened. Im so nice to people. Even when they are drunk assholes. Tonight, he hit the nicest guy in the bar...and paid dearly for it. I hate stupid people.
Got sucker punched at work tonight.....

In the words of Hyde from That 70s Show: "Where zen ends, ass kicking begins."KeithReynolds wrote: Tonight, he hit the nicest guy in the bar...and paid dearly for it.

LOL. Dude, the human race amazes me! If you need great examples to that, the holidays will probably give them, but if you need real proof on the extremes of people that can be side by side, go to a Black Friday sale when there are people piled around something! You'll see someone get thrown, someone else pick them up, and the most interesting sides of humanity really show! It really is amazing sometimes just how far people will stoop, and how far they'll go to pick someone up!
First rule of martial arts: NEVER take your eyes off your opponent...especially if they're intoxicated.
Glad the fucker got what he deserved. I know it doesn't make sense that he hit you, but drunk or irate people can be counted on to do shit that doesn't make any sense. Hope you're okay, man. Didn't break your glasses, did he?

Sorry to hear it Kieth! I really hope you're okay though, are your glasses still in one piece? Unfortunately, I've been in this situation as well, never got hit in the face by a drunken idiot but got pinned up against a bar by two I didn't even know one time while they were fighting. Had a nice giant bruise on my shin for weeks after that.
At the very least, the next time that douche decides to randomly hit a passerby when he's drunk, maybe he'll remember you kicking his ass and think twice about it...I mean, I'm not holding my breath, but there's always a scant possibility that you may save someone else this fate down the line.
Dude, you need a raise for dealing with that shit.
