Time Machine

Post by witchhunt »

Watched Rush's new Time Machine Blu-Ray. Wow. Besides having superb audio and video quality, the camera work is really good. The first set features a lot of newer stuff which is not my favorite, but the second set includes Moving Pictures in it's entirety and La Villa Strangiato and Working Man for the encore. It's the best I've ever heard them play Working Man.

Awesome! I gotta check that out. La Villa Strangiato is one of my favorite songs. Wish more bands would write stuff like that these days.

I got a chance to go see them when they came to Pittsburgh last year. They were awesome! It was the first time I've ever seen them but the acoustics were perfect. Geddy sounded awesome and Alex and Neil still rock out. I was surprised when Alex shredded probably a 3 minute solo at the end of Working Man. I didn't know he still had it in him! All together a great show.
