Lol!! The fans down here tend to be crybabies, that can dish it out yet they can't take it. I dislike the Pats and that whiner Brady, I just ignore Vick. The Steelers are a good team, they have a lot of good players. Harrison is one of the toughest guys in the league, bar none. I respect the players, it's the fans in western Maryland that make it impossible to root for Pittsburgh.

There were a lot of free agent D backs available in the offseason. The Steelers looked at a total of NONE of them.

This game was very much like the Super Bowl, the defense, esp. the secondary, could not stop a drive at the end of the game. And from a mediocre QB. Flacco is no Aaron Rogers.

The secondary is digressing from last year.
Really? Think so? Last week we shut Brady & (welch welker; how spell his name, who cares) and his corp of receivers SHUT THEM down MANO-to-Man coverage! no zone! Fellatio err flacco hehehe is no Brady, and his receivers don't measure up to Brady's bunch.

i have no clue how they converted all those 3rd down..3rd down is 3rd down you're not looking @ 3rd down because the ravens were doing so good. i don't know..sucked big time

LUCK. Raven;'s were lucky; that's only thing that explains it because we beat them at every front!

why dislike the Steelers? lot's of others to dislike for a reason like the Pats & bellicheat. who likes Brady, what's to like with that arrogant...the raiders for being perennial losers that they are. da Bears for signing Cutler. (da born loser). M. Vick & eagles for resurrecting a dog abuser/ whatever else. Tim Tebow,

the Steelers are all about legit hard nosed football. the running game. mother. and apple pie. what's not to like ??!
That's not apple pie you smell, that's bullshit

The season is half way over. The Ravens have a better record than the Steelers at current point, and both teams have a pretty lax schedule, with exception to the 49ers and (GASP!) the Bengals twice. The 9ers may be the real deal, but the Bengals haven't had a challenge yet, and they play both of their AFC North rivals. At this point, the odds for the Steelers making the Super Bowl are just as unlikely as the odds of the Ravens not making the Playoffs. Don't kid yourself. Don't think either of those is a likely scenario. There's still plenty of season yet, and at this point, there's no surrender

Since 2004 the Steelers And Ravens have meet 18 times. The series is tied 9-9. 2 of the Steelers wins were playoff games. I wouldn't say it's a given the Steelers lose every time they play the Ravens.

Well, it is pretty much given. I don't know what it is, but they always suck against the Ravens. And if they lose, it is really no surprise.

The "experts" have baltimore ranked #2 sharing that spot with 49ers; what crock! They obviously don't watch the same games I do. They have Giants ranked #4! LOL, We the Steelers are #5 down from #2 spot. Obviously GB is #1.

The Giants are ranked higher than us?? What a joke! Eli sucks, Big Ben is multiples better than him. Our receiver corp is elite and are far more talented than New York's (we have the fastest guy on the planet!)I firmly believe that we are far far better than we are playing at present. Our D shut down the Raven's run game and Rice, one of the best running backs in the game! With one lucky pass in last 10 secs they pull the game out, BFD. Ranked #2, haha i think not! We are definitely better than the Giants. hands down. Better than the Ravens. (always have been) i think it was THREE playoffs we knocked them out of! Those are the big games, where it really counts to step up; and the Steelersare known for and have always stepped up!

We should either BE #2 or be the ones to share share this spot with 49ers who I think are playing way above their head and will crash and burn this second half of the season.

Anyway, that's my analysis, and i think it spot on! 8)

Oh, almost forgot here's the rankings:

These rankings are based off of THIS season, not past seasons. The 49ers are 7-1, the Giants are 6-2. They both have better records than the Steelers, hence the higher ranking.

You have a point there; their record is 7-1 regardless of playing over their heads. Ok, then we should be ranked third.

edit: what just a darn minute. The Ravens are tied with us in the division, yet they are ranked #2 with 49ers, and higher than Giants who have a better record, as you noted. So, you really don't have a valid point afterall.

The Ravens are not tied with the Steelers. Ravens are tied with the Bengals.

Bengals and Ravens are 6-2, the Steelers are 6-3

Question for all you sports fans.

How many rings do the Steelers have?

Answer" 6. The most in the league! 8)

The Steelers organization is one of the most respected (if not THE) , and well run in the league. They've had only 3 head coaches in last 35 years. EVERY TEAM respects the Steelers, year after year after year.

ps How many rings can the Ravens claim: 1. (12 years ago)

I asked a question, would you like to answer it??

Edit: Nevermind, I'll answer it. They've won 2 rings in the last 30 years. The teams of the 70's were very good. However, I don't consider 2 rings in 30 years a "dynasty".

You're not going to win this one.

Frankly, I'm not sure why I'm even doing this. I'm a Jags fan. We suck. At one time, we were the thorn in Pittsburgh's side. But no longer..not yet at least. We need a lot to turn our team around, as we too are getting older.

I just don't understand why a lot of Steeler fans can't ever admit that the better team won when they lost. It's either Pittsburgh wins, they rub it in your face, or Pittsburgh loses, they cry foul and remind everyone that they have rings. Some don't do that, but a lot do. Just sayin' the rings excuse is lame now to me.

BTW...my prediction at the end of week 1 was that the Packers are going to repeat. I'm still holding to that.
