First snow of the season

If you haven't looked outside, it's snowing in October, which isn't that weird, really... But it's actually on the ground everywhere, and even if it's melting quickly, it's to the point where it's not melting fast enough to just go away. I thought we were supposed to be in recognition of a non-feasting holiday this week...

I don't remember any of this global-warming stuff when it was 100 degrees this summer.

(I believe the planet's probably warming up, but I don't believe humans cause it. I think that's egotistical.)
