Ok, so I've had enough time off.

Drummer available (ex-NailDriver/Scream/Banditos/Gin-N-Juice). Standard stuff: 38 years playing experience, pro gear, alcohol/drug free, good attitude. I can arrange rehearsal space in Altoona if absolutely necessary. Am a quick study, and have specialized in one-off sub gigs for bands ranging from HF1 to The Hurricanes to Bad DaZe and others. Blah blah blah. Not gonna bore you with that. Here's the important stuff...

-I'm looking for a startup or an existing project located in Altoona. I don't want to play every weekend. Once or twice a month is fine. I have a family and they come first. If you want to get signed and all that stuff, best of luck to you but look elsewhere, please. I prefer not to travel farther than to State College or Johnstown for a gig. (Gig, not rehearsal)

-Style of music preferred is rock/alt/party/blues/funk. Originals are fine, covers are fine, I don't care. I can do it all, but I don't play country, and I'm not your 300bpm double bass guy either.

-Practice is for work. I don't go to practice to learn songs. I go to practice to put songs together with my bandmates that already know their parts. If you want to go to practice to drink beer, socialize with chicks, get hammered and party, don't call me. I don't half-ass music, and you shouldn't, either. I won't gig until it's ready, and you should want to be as close to perfect as possible.

@Swingmaster: Thanks for the good wishes. I've been playing steadily in bands here for the last decade and most musicians here know me, so my "demands" as you call them are not unreasonable. I hope to find something soon so I won't have to whine about it for six months.

Good guy, good player & also agree that his expectations are reasonable. Kevin has always been great to work with & he's got plenty of experience & chops as well. And he didn't even have to buy me a box of pastries to say that! Lots of luck Kevin, you won't be out of work for long.

hell yah good luck brother! i dont know you but not a lot of musicians around here have that attitude even though you dont wanna be a big deal *get signed* I understand what you're saying and so should anyone who just wants to do a local band for fun. Give this guy a hollar!!!

sorry to hear about Naildriver.....what I heard on-line sounded awesome. Kevin is a good guy and awesome drummer, I got the opportunity to audition for one of the bands he was in years ago. Unfortunately, at that time their ambitions were alot higher than mine. good luck Kevin.

I just wanted to give you a thumbs up for the professional attitude and post. It's great to know that there are people with your mindset applying themselves to music.

RPers, they are not "demands" or even expectations, it's called "professionalism" and probably has EVERYTHING to do with why ToonaRockGuy is so highly recomended.
