Probably so, considering that the primary commodification of music has become the downloadable single. Don't get me wrong - I think it's great that technology has helped place power back into the creators' and performers' hands, but I do lament the extinction of the album as its own artistic gestalt. But those lamentations are catalogued elsewhere on the forum. *lol*tonefight wrote: but I think that may even fade away at some point here in my life.

"...And out Come the Wolves" by Rancid (which I will when I get a new record player)
"Graceland" by Paul Simon (When I was about 13 or 14 I listened to this album constantly. I think I wore out 2 copies of it)
"the Wall" by Pink Floyd (haven't listened to it or watched it in like 2 years.)
"Stabbing Westward" by Stabbing Westward
"2112"
"Blues at Sunrise" by SRV
"Mommy's Little Monster" by Social Distortion
"Sixteen Stone" by Bush
"London Calling" by the Clash
"August and Everything After" by the Counting Crows
"Yourself or Someone Like you" by Matchbox 20 (My high school self would never forgive my current self for not listening to this in several years)
Wow...what a wierd list.
