Just an observance! GO PENN STATE!!!
I would never uses "us" or "we" for a pro team, even though I've been a diehard Steeler fan since before the AFL/NFL merger...when the Steelers' had such renowned players as Dick Hoak and Kent Nix, not to mention their big "star" player, punter Bobby Walden.
however...
After having lived there, worked there and graduated from there twice, I don't have a problem using "us" and "we" when it comes to my beloved Nitwits.
GO PENN STATE!
...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...
They look slow this year. I heard a reporter, on ESPN I believe, say that the Steelers defense is getting older. They'll need to draft some younger players, or they'll have some lean years ahead.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

Timmons, Woodley, Hood, Heyward, Worlids, Brown, Allen
All young players on defense....
Old players...Farrior, Hampton, Smith, Keisel, Harrison
How much of the defense is also having to work with the other team getting great field position from a turnover? I'm not worried about the age of the team quite yet, but if they don't figure out ANYTHING with that offensive line, not only will we lose our QB (Ben has been lucky he hasn't been snapped in half yet), but Charlie will be completely destroyed. That leaves us with our #3 Dixon, who I doubt knows the offense very well yet, and what backup?
Reminds me of Tommy Maddox when he went 6-10. Of course he'll go 6-10 with an O-line that let's through Mother freaking Theresa!
Coming from a non-Steelers-fan (in fact, a Ravens fan, who really dislikes the Steelers) perspective,... Dixon isn't bad a QB at all. He beats a lot of 3rd stringers out there

Have you seen him play??? lol Yes, he may be better than Flacco, but as a Steeler, he's terrible.
Their main problem is O-line. They had so many injuries that TE David Johnson almost ended up at tackle. I'm just so glad that my sis gave me a nerf Steelers brick for my birthday to throw at the TV.
Without O-line, Roethlisberger can't play "sack me if you can" and make the big play, the backs don't get big gains and the defense gets tired from too much time on the field.

They just re-signed Max Starks, their left tackle who was out most of last year but who they cut early this year.

Flacco only does really bad against really good defenses... Which reminds me, where was Hairball Polamalu just about 4 weeks ago? He must've left himself on the plane
