Based on these two songs and the other snipets I've been fortunate enough to hear the new songs have a really dark feel to them and I think it's badass. I can tell you guys are experimenting with different time signatures and writing styles.
Curse of the Serpent Seed is The Embalmed brutality that everyone loves. An in your face raw song. I love the ending with both of you trading vocals back and fourth. Well done.
Coming Black Winter is more than a song it's a production. With the synth, choir, vocal effects, etc. I've never heard anything like it come from a local band. There is something about the erie/chilling feeling this song portrays that I just can't get enough of.
The production is top notch and so far everything I've heard has been some of your best stuff yet.
Kick ass!
Mike

I've thought (and said) this about a million times. All I can say is two things:
1. How in the HELL is The Embalmed not signed yet? This is some of the best stuff from that camp EVER.

you guys have no idea how incredible it feels to have ppl you respect tell you that you've done your best work yet. there is always so much goddamn negativity towards everything nowadays, and i just completetly appreciate someone taking the time to check out something new and leaving such awesome comments.
hell the fuck up and thx!!!!!

The synth work kicks some major ass. I always wanted a band with some synth in it. The songs sound amazing from the rippin guitars, low grindin bass and kick ya in the face drummin this fawker is a Masterpiece. I cant wait to hear the rest. I've been jammin to the stuff on reverbnation but I need a copy bad. Nuttin like mowin grass to THE EMBALMED, makes me wanna drive my Toro straight to hell with no regrets. hahahah
Amazing work again Gents
p.s. if you ever need a fat kid to pound some keys live let me know hahah HELL UP
