I think the best one I saw was at one of the Projekt Revolution tours. Cypress Hill was playing, and Christian Olde Wolbers from Fear Factory came out and played the show with a standing bass. Very cool.
Wasn't at the show, but would have been awesome seeing Trans Siberian Orchestra and Steven Tyler play Dream On. Look for the youtube videos. He nails it.
In 1975 I was anything but a KISS fan. My girlfriend at the time talked me into taking her. It was at the Paramount in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Well, it rocked and I ended up having a great time.
Sometime in the 90's we went to Pittsburgh to see Metallica, Suicidal and Candlebox (blah) only to find out when we got there that candlebox dropped off the tour and was replaced by FIGHT!
years ago saw George Jones, Mark Chestnut at the Jaffa...Tracy Lawrence was supposed to play...Confederate Railroad stepped in....that was cool. Also saw Godsmack, Soil, and Shinedown about 4-5 years ago at BJC. Surprised at how good of a band Soil was, and how many good songs Shinedown sang.
