The Embalmed news

Post by Killjingle »

We are pleased to announce that we are in the final mixing process of our latest release "Make The Children Listen." The sound of the new disc will be a mixture between "What Would Judas Do" and our original sound. A select few who have had the chance to grab a sneak peek have said that the material is much darker than our our previous 2 discs, and I am going to agree with them. I cant wait for our bros to hear the new music...

Tentative song titles for the upcoming release include:

Mother Darkness
Curse of the Serpent Seed
All Devils Day
The Opposite of God
Devil Platinum
Coming Black WInter
Last Acts of Contrition
Setting Fire to Holy Water
Listen to the Ancients
Asclepias Curassavica

sound wise i agree with Killjingle. it is Judas meets Put on Your Horns to my ears. there is a definite a nod to the older, darker Embalmed sound, but with the more technical and streamlined sound we have evolved into. some very cool SONGS on this puppy if i do say so myself; Killjingle wrote some of the best stuff he has ever come up with, and that's saying alot. wait till ya hear his riffs on Curse and Ancients... wow.

Release date is not confirmed yet. We have a few things to touch up on the disc, the packaging is close, still need to """"master"""" it up to a more pleasing level. Id say no later than October 8th if I am a betting man. We'd be happy to do a show with you as long as we can fit it in b4 my lilttle boy comes a long (GONNA BE A DAD AGAIN!). We didnt get recording until a little later than I planned. But I think its gonna be a great disc!
