If you billed yourself out @ $25 per hour, you could learn and perfect all of the techniques used to make one, including the harvesting of raw materials, for a fraction of that cost.
Then you could make hundreds of them.
I'm in the wrong line of work...

gibsons are ridiculously over priced from the get go. imo. nice guitars, price - not so nice.

Doh! I had a 1968 Gibson reissue of the 1956 Goldtop Standard soapbar version of that guitar in high school.
i......traded..........it.........for.........a............stratocaster.....
