Feds Raid Gibson Guitar
It's a very simple political strategy, and the only one available: The GOP became radioactive in 2008, after years of failure and corruption. They have to portray government as evil, then claim they are the anti-government. How do they fix government? By taking back, you guessed it: government.
Name a Tea Party candidate who does not have an (R) after their name.
Same old, same old. And I hope you cleared your post with UCJoe.

Some interesting facts are coming out now.
Gibson is a non union shop. Its CEO openly gives to Republican candidates.
Martin guitars is a union run shop. It openly donates to Democrats.
Both use Indian rosewood and Madagascar ebony in their guitars.
Wonder why only one was raided by armed federal agents????

Quit your whining. This is the free market at work. You intellectual giants don't want any laws, rules, statutes or ordinances to "hinder" corporate interest, so everything that happens between corporations is FAIR PLAY. Martin sicced the dogs on Gibson. Too bad, so sad, tra-la-la. Sheetz crushes Martin General Stores, whether Martins are good folks or not, fair or otherwise.undercoverjoe wrote:Some interesting facts are coming out now.

See how this works? You guys don't really want a fair game, you want whatever fits your own personal interests, interest which are dictated by whoever you happened to hear on the radio, or whatever blog you got linked to.
If you sold weed, and somebody called the cops on you, you're the kind of guys who would blame the cops for busting you, pure and simple. "Oh, boo-hoo, the government is evil, they enforce the law even when I break it! Woe is me! I'm a tough-guy, but my pussy hurts! Reality sucks!!"

Posted without UCJoe's permission. I sure hope he doesn't retaliate!
What a total idiot. The government interfered with private enterprise. How in the world is that free market at work? If the fascist federal government was not involved in this story it might be free market. But that is the whole point of the story, why is our overreaching, fascist government raiding a private Americans owned company with armed agents???
Notice they raid the company that did not offer money and tribute to the Kenyan idiot. And you agree with this.
What a fucking government Nazi tool you are. You disgust me.
You might be the only musician in America that supports the Gestapo over an American guitar manufacturer.

The use of the term, "Marxist" is based on opinion. There is only one Dem candidate for president, and he is the incumbent (who won without a recount or court ruling). On the other hand, I stated a fact: All of the Tea Party candidates are, in fact, Republicans. Ron Paul was once a Libertarian, but could never garner a two-digit percentage of the vote, as libertarianism is not adhered to by most voters. Of the remaining candidates, all are life-long Republicans, except for Rick 'W.' Perry, who was a Democrat until partway through the Clinton admin. He headed up Gore's 1988 campaign in TX. Those are just facts, but you're not a stickler for those.
As for what this has to do with Gibson... What does page after page of radical rightwing harrassment from internet trolls have to do with the Blair County music scene?
After years and years of your liberal socialist lies on RP, little Marxist johnny does not like it when others show what a douche he really is. Getting to ya, isn't? I thought you were going to stay off the political posts? The Gibson guitar story mixes in a music industry hallmark company and an overreaching, authoritarian government. It is a music related story. Try to keep your left wing Marxism out of it.songsmith wrote:undercoverjoe wrote:[(Name a Marxist candidate that does not have a (D) after their name.)

To all those who ask why I keep arguing with this dildo, just illustrating his shallow stupidity is enjoyment enough. He cannot stand that years of uninterrupted socialist rants have ended.songsmith wrote:I can see you're getting a little itchy in your brain. How 'bout it, Joe? When you call me a Marxist, do you know the difference between Karl and Groucho?
