BANDS FOR PELLYS BENIFIT PLEASE READ

Post by Jo money pig »

Adam could you make sure all the bands get this thanks aaron

sorry to post here but this is the best way i know to reach all the bands. This is Aaron and garry from rapid fire. Here is the deal on sunday we Have 14 bands at my last count which means we all have to be pros. you have a 45 min set not 46 to 60 at like 35min we will give you a warring. at that point please be respectful 45min is 45 min. we have 15min to set up each band so move you butt not a time to give high fives etc. please be there a hour before you set. Adam is working on a set up area. Drumers you are using our kit sorry but we dont have the time to put 14 drum kits up. if you are left handed it is easier to switch a few things vs a whole kit. this is with the exception of the 9pmband. bud our drummer is working someting out with him due to a work issue. at that point its that kit again sorry but its the way it is. it again in a 45 min set so please no matter who you are be cool about it. its not about us its about a little girl. my bass rig will be there its a gk 700rb head with a 4/10 neo cab you welcome to use it plug in what you have to. its much easier to mic one or two things that a whole band. please make me aware of any special needs you may have if you could get a hold of myself or Garry or Adam D t let us know what to expect if you are a 3 4 5 piece band and how many vocal mics would be helpful. the reason i am contacting you is to make the trasiton as easy as possible and just so everyone and i mean everyone is aware if you take 30 min to set up you got 15 to play. we want to be fair to every band. if you need to yell scream at any one about this lease contact me. we look foward to working with all of you and again just so everyone is aware we will have a full Pa lightS and two monitor mixes sorry the best we can do. lets make it count.

Just curious as to whether there will be a guitar cabinet there so all I need to do is bring my head? If not, that is cool just trying to save a little time. I believe the rest of the band will use whatever is available. Thanks alot, I am looking forward to it!!!!

I can also leave my cabinet up there all day if you are in need of one to stay on stage if you want one.

Guitr amps and cabs

Post by BloodyFingers »

I have no problem changing guitar amps. But the rest remains the same. I relize that guytar amps are all different. Drums and bass rigs are close so lets just use the bass rig and drums being supplied. Drummers please bring your snare drum as Bud doesn't want to have his snare pounded on all night. You can under stand that being a drummer.

There are to many bands for this gig but we are going to get you all in. So drummers bring your snare drum and guitar players bring your amps. You will 10 minutes to change your guitar rig and get ready to go.

Here's the final word on the drums.... drummers please bring your own snare. All drummers will use the set we have up. We are not setting up any other drums. Use what we have or cancel this is your choice. We have to many bands to be setting up other drums. I don't have enough channels to be setting up 2 drum sets. Thank you for your cooperation....

problem is If I let 1 band do it then others will follow...

I don't mean to be stubborin but we are just trying to be fair.....to.....everyone....

Kudos to all of you involved in putting this together in such a short time period. I wouldn't want to be in charge. Oh and Bill, Seig Heil. This is gonna be a great show for a greater cause.

Not trying to start any shit, but just because alot of us prefer to use our own amps,cabs,drums,etc.. doesn't mean we have egos. We,NailDriver, play mostly original material and we prefer to use our own equipment because of the sound we are going for. I'm not saying our amps are better than someone else's and we have def. played through other guy's cabs and drums more than once. I understand why they want everyone to use the same equipment for this, makes sense..having 14 bands in a 12 hour period or less is gonna be tough. I hope it's a great turnout and everything goes smooth and it generates lots of money for this little girl, she deserves it for sure.
