david eden help

Post by LIMB BY LIMB »

I just bought a David Eden valve tech series world tour 600 off a friend of mine . He bought it in 2000 and it played great and it just stopped one day. He had it fixed at a music shop and when he tried it he said it wasn't as ballsy as before he then paniced and bought a new amp and left it sit for the last 5 years. I want to have it looked at to see what it needs. I only paid 200 for this thing and these edens are pricey.who or where can I take it to locally that can fix it right?? I am pumped about this thing because I want it to power my swr 6x10 and can then move my swr 350 professional to my 15.... the sooner I can get it 100% the better I have bigger show at the end of Sept

Matt, get ahold of Dave Sarge in State College. I believe you can drop it off at Rainbow Music, you may want to call and make sure he can look at it,but if anyone around here can fix it,he can. He worked for Mesa for quite a few years so the man knows amps.

I have an Eden WT800, and KO at Ford Music has worked on it a couple times over the past 10 years. Get a schematic from the Eden site and take it to KO. Great tech and fair prices. Sarge is great as well, but it may take a little longer.

Dave Sarge will fix it,no need to worry there. He did our guitar players Dual Rectifier and I think he only had it a week. :D :D

Did this ever get fixed? If so, what a great deal!
