Area musician Jody Sinclair R.I.P.

Post by Jim Price »

Since it hasn't been reported yet on Rockpage, I'm sad to report that Jody Sinclair, who played in a number of Centre County bands over the past two decades, passed away on August 1 after an extended illness. He was 39.

I saw Jody in several bands over the years, most recently 3 years ago in E.S. Whitefisch.

An initial memorial benefit show for Jody's surviving family happened this past Friday night at The Brewery in State College. Another bigger and more organized show will happen at The Arena sometime in November.

That's way too young to go. RIP.

I had the pleasure of playing with Jody for 2 years. Great guitarist and a very talented producer. He will be missed.
I'm a drummer...I just hang out with musicians.
