The 1966 hit song Wild Thing by The Troggs was actually a remake. It was originally done in 1965 by a band called Jordan Christopher & The Wild Ones and written by New Yorker Chip Taylor (born James Wesley Voight). Taylor's brothers are actor Jon Voight and geologist Barry Voight. He is the uncle of actors Angelina Jolie and James Haven.

The original version of You Are So Beautiful was recorded by Billy Preston. The song was written by Billy Preston and Bruce Fisher (as well as an uncredited Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys). Billy Preston never released the song as a single and used it as an album cut. However, he did perform it in his concerts. He probably would have had a hit with it on his own.

"Evil Ways" was written by Clarence "Sonny" Henry and first recorded by jazz percussionist Willie Bobo in 1968 on his album of the same name. The next year, it was recorded by the band Santana, who had a huge hit with the song.
