What's new that you're listening to ? And what's the genre ?

Edit: Or what is old that is new to you ?

Just looking for new stuff to listen to. Let me know what you're into.

That's cool. I've been meaning to get hold of more of their material.

I should have written, "... or new to you..."

Recently I have found a few that seem to be pretty decent..

Black Veil Brides - Set the World on Fire

Parachute - The Way it Was

The Pretty Wreckless - Light Me Up

My Darkest Days - My Darkest Days

The Cars - Move Like This

Doobie Brothers - World Gone Crazy

The Airborne Toxic Event - All at Once

Sparks the Rescue - Worst Thing I've Been Cursed With

Owl City - All Things Bright and Beautiful

Between the Buried and Me - The Parallax- Hypersleep Dialogues

I got some others that have not got me back for a third listen yet so, i will let them go..

Try some out Bill!

Funny you mention Owl City. I saw them in concert a couple weeks ago. All I knew was the Fireflies song and I was extremely impressed with how tight and polished Adam Young and his backup band was and the songs were well written and not just simple pop songs.

I've been enjoying Toubab Crew (sp?) and Buckethead on my Pandora. I can't believe that Buckethead played with GnRoses who I don't really care for, if you hear his solo stuff it seems like such a different style than GnR. Toubab Crew has a cool percussion/electronica/african groove. Also lately been re-appreciating Buffalo Springfield.

Check out this 1975 video of Eric Johnson in a fusion band called the Electromagnets. I had never heard of this.

A new band i'm becoming to like more and more is a band called Volbeat from overseas. And unsure of their new album name but new song White Trash Millionaire by Black Stone Cherry seems pretty decent as well.

Nice tunes, nice recording. I like that the guitar in the mix is just a little out in front, when in needs to be.

What has been getting the most play from me lately is the new live Thousand Foot Krutch record.

Second would be the Brian "Head" Welch (Formerly of Korn) album Save Me From Myself

And third would be Uniontown PA's very own The Letter Black

All of which is heavier kind of stuff, if that's what you're into.

I've been digging on a little bit of everything as of late: Dub Trio, Helmet, Living Colour, Theory of a Deadman, John Mayer Trio, Metallica, Mr. Big.
