Hey big spenders.....Andreas Shark basses.

Post by MOONDOGGY »

I'm selling my investments a bit early. I planned on sitting on these for 10-20 years and flipping them, but I've got way too many reasons to sell now.

My FS thread on Talkbass has all the specs and nitty gritty details:

http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/~~~~ ... ~~-793996/

I haven't had much luck on TB, CL, or other sites, but I'd rather only use eBay as a last ditch effort to sell these. (Their fees are outrageous!)

There aren't many of these in existence. There were only about 400 Andreas instruments made in total. Most of which were guitars, and about half of the instruments were the later cheaper versions. It's probably safe to assume there's around 100 four and five string Andreas Shark basses in existence. There should be enough of them out there to give you an idea of prices. So do some research and find out for yourself that my prices a pretty darn good deals. These are top-notch, handmade, boutique basses with top-notch components like German-made Schaller hardware, aluminum fingerboards, and ALEMBIC pickups and preamps/filters on the basses. They're both in excellent condition.

The Basking Shark 5 bass comes with the original flight case. The Bull Shark 4 bass comes w/ the original gigbag. If you'd rather have the other case/bag, we can work something out.

If interested, please call me: 814-414-6925.

Thanks

Dan

I've lowered my prices a good bit. These are reflected in the new link to the ad on Talkbass.com.

I need some Christmas money, so if you're thinking of an incredible Christmas present (or two), there's no shame in spoiling yourself!!!

Perhaps some glam shots of these instruments will help scratch your GAS itch.

Is anyone semi-interested in purchasing one of these?

Bump... Just did some spring cleaning and realized I could use the room that these are taking up, and I don't play them.

To the top again. The Fierce Shark just shipped. Both Shark guitars are gone.

Both the Basking Shark 5 and Bull Shark 4 string basses are still available, and prices are a bit negotiable.

Dagnaybit, Dan, I say keep the Shark basses. It's the purple Spector you don't play. Right? ;)

Lol! I may consider renting (or whore-ing) the purple Spector! It honestly doesn't get played much. None of my basses get they attention they deserve! I gotta find some other humans to jam with!
