O.k, I am thinking of a song. This song was released two times. Both times it hit number one. Can you name the song and the band that performed it?
It is a little tough, so I will give you a first hint. The first time it was released was in the 70's, and the second time it was released in the 90's.
I don't think "Candle in the Wind" was released until the 80's. Is it "Don't let the sun go down on me" by Elton John in the 70's, and Elton John and George Michael in the 90's??
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.
We have a winner. It was Queen with Bohemian Rhapsody. The first time it was released was in 1975, on A Night At The Opera, and it went number one. It was then released in 1991, as A Night At The Opera was reissued. It was also on the soundtrack for Waynes World.
We Will Rock You was the B-side to We Are The Champions, and became forever linked to it. Both songs were Top 10 worldwide in 1977, and while some B-sides are happy surprises, this was planned, in this case. In '78 they released Fat Bottomed Girls and Bicycle Race as a double-A-side, and it did okay, but not as well as WWRY/WATC.
