This thing is A W E S O M E. It is a lot better than I thought it would be. I really dig it. Has anyone tried one yet?

I like some of the factory sounds, although I am going to get online and find some more I can get for it.

Haven't used the HD, but L O V E my X3 Live!! (which I've mentioned several dozen times on Rockpage. Same deal with the factory sounds - they're OK, but once you get in and start dialing in your own it really takes off.

I've heard a lot of good things about these pedals, as a few guys down this way play with them. I have an XT Live that I really like, I use it for a fx with my Mesa. If I didn't have a Mesa, I'm sure I'd buy one of the HD boards.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

I have the Line 6 Pod XT live, this pedal is Awesome. I'll bet the newHD model kick some ass. They are the same as mine but not HD.

I use my pedal thru a crate 65 watt powered monitor. No guitar amp..

I've quit using an amp. I just take my POD everywhere and go direct. It's pretty sweet to take my entire rig in one trip from the car.

After experiencing the versatility of the POD line, I'm quite curious about the Variax (expecially through a POD). Anybody try this yet?

I been hooking mine up to my mac and using it to switch the mods and such. I am really liking it. I got a set of studio headphones for it. So I use the preamp in it as well.

There is a lot more than I thought involved with it. So far my favorite mod for it is a mod callled "Floyd-Gasm". It is so nice and ghostly. If you ever heard Pink Floyd Marooned. That is the sound.

I agree hooking it up balanced through a power amp with a cab is all you need. I was thinking about getting a DT50 for it. But I think I am going to go with a Power Amp and Cab instead.

Has anyone tried the HD/DT50 combination? Im guessing it sounds pretty amazing.
"well, why don't you make ten louder and just have that be the loudest one?"

".....but these go to eleven!"

I haven't tried it yet. But I have heard clips of it, and it did sound really good. I am right now thinking between a dt50 or power amp with a cab. I love the fact that the dt50 is made by bogner. The only thing I don't like is that they don't make an extension cab for it yet. I think I saw somewhere that they are going to make the dt50 rack mountable here soon. So that should be pretty cool as well.
