Jeez, how much fun was THAT! Putting faces to screen names, hot chicks and cold beer, 47 drummers-2 bassists-1 guitarist ratio (just kidding), Brian of the Clan Plush and the Story of the Snow-Sniper, Paul really does look just like Future Bobby (?), dual-drummer duels, a new keyboard minus some keys, 237dB of stage volume, Stacy's Mom and her really nice rack, ringing ears (and I wore plugs!), Rob The Drummer/Metalrules' enthusiasm about his new gig (cool deal, dude), Chakey Stolzfus on lead guitar, Iceman's had 30 minutes of singing experience and he's already a way better frontman than me, that really nice girl that sang Simple Man, Toona Rock's man-candy ass, the bands rocked (Dropout High, the shoes I had on were older than you guys, and the Opposition are gonna be big...hint: book frat parties. trust me.), and my favorite moment... that wasted dude that got up and sang to an instrumental. I don't know who he was, what he was singing, or what planet he came here from, but he made my day.
Thanks so much to Big John and the Peter C's staff, JP, Ron, all the musicians and fans, and especially Bobby Hurricane for another special evening. Again, I saw a complete lack of ego and pretense, a pervasive fraternal spirit that I doubt exists in any other music community, and a pool of talent that never ceases to amaze me. I'm proud to be included.----------->(sorry, certain letters are missing on this keyboard...you know them)

That was indeed another fun blast! It was very cool to see all the musicians meeting, interacting, and putting together jams on stage. I also saw younger musicians rubbing elbows with seasoned vets and learning from the evening's experience - again, very cool!

I took a ton of pictures and managed to get some decent video, despite forgetting my tripod. I'll try to get the pics posted within the next few days.

Hats off to all the bands who played sets, including Gypsy & the Crazymoon, Opposition, Dropout High, the Broken Neck reunion, even a bit of Banditos in the night's waning moments! Thanks also to all the Rockpagers who came out, and all the musicians who took part - again, not an ego in the room, everybody just wanted to get together and make music!

And that wasted dude who got up and tried to sing - I thought he was having a Jim Morrison 'Lizard King' moment! I loved the part where his mic suddenly stopped working and everyone acted like the mic went bad; seasoned Rockpagers knew better!

In all, a very fun evening! Here's to doing it again soon!

What a great f*cking night!! I had a blast, and it was really cool to meet some new rockpagers and see some friends that I hadn't seen in a while (Johnny Stevens and Rick "Jebediah" Ramsay come to mind...)

Major props to Hurricane for puttin' this whole thing together, Big John and Jodie for continuing to support all of us, Richie for running the sound, all the musicians who came and jammed, and that freakjob who tried to sing and got cut off. All the musicians were so cool, there was no attitude at all. That's what makes this scene great. I'd also like to personally thank all the drummers for not reducing my kit to kindling, LOL.

It was great to see Opposition (F*ckin' A, that was great!), Gypsy & Co, Banditos, Dropout High (we wrote this), and I really enjoyed Broken Neck! I really hope sometime we can all collectively go over to Scarfone's house and forcibly drag his ass out so we can get a FULL Fatal Maim reunion!

Well, done, everyone, and let's get ready for the next one! Is '06 that far away? Rock on!!
Dood...

Hey everyone........had a good time seeing everyone I haven't seen for years. Sorry that Phillip DaPusse couldn't join me, he was terribly ill that evening. I know he was very disappointed when I mentioned all that was there.

Toon Guy--- Phillip is horribly sorry!!!
Hugh G. Rection--- thanks for hanging out with me!

and I think I have the right name????----- Bandito-- thanks for the complement on my posting. It was nice to put a face to a screen name.

Talk to you all later,

Cool, I dig the pics. I looked high in my Leeper Benefit photo. *LOL* I do seem posessed in the last pic; must have been Johnny's evilness wearing off on me. (or maybe I was in "Future Bobby" mode)

It was definatley cool to see some familiar faces and meet new people. Plus, I got to jam with Kevin again! I wish I could have stayed the whole night, but I was already exhuasted from school. We definatley need another summer jam, though.

Once I get completely situated here and some back moving bills paid, I'd like to fly up for the next one. I'm missing a lot of stuff going on back home from being here. :(
