Johnny, will please say you fucked up already. You totally made this up us about Steve's post, just like you do on every political thread there ever was.

He is calling you out on this one thing. This one is not real hard.

You made a statement, either admit you were totally wrong, like a man, or keep on being the bitch we all know and hate.

I'm betting on little bitch.

Well holy heck, boys, I stand corrected. Online poker really is irrelevant and meaningless, you've all admitted that. It doesn't really create a 100,000 jobs or 10,000, like you originally said.

The point was whether its 50 or 100,000, more jobs are more jobs. You are just too damn stubborn to admit 50 or 100,000 is better than none at all.

It's a hobby, like you said. No wait, I said all those things first.

Yes it's a hobby. If you are wanting me to disagree here I can't. But the term hobby was probably implied when they added the words "life, liberty, and THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS in the constitution. Someone pissed on my hobby and in turn pissed on my right to THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS....no matter how big or how small....how relevant or irrelevant...it's my right to pursue them. The rights I so certainly have earned by going to work, and paying my taxes, and therefore being a productive member of society.

And I thank you for all the FREEDOM you've given me in the last 48 hours, I thought posting my opinion that poker is just an avocation amounted to an... opinion, but you've shown me that only the opinions YOU ALLOW will be acceptable.

No, you are more than welcome to post anything you want. I never once said you cant post an opinion. I am exercising the same freedom you are. You make a statement/opinion .... i retort with mine. To stomp on your freedom would be to remove any post you make, which I certainly have not done. We both have rights to "freedom of speech".

Typical libertarian responses all 'round, I can say whatever I want unless it doesn't jive with your "rules." Thanks so much for the liberty, it feels really good to say whatever I want, inside the boundaries of your approval.

Again have I deleted or banned you from saying anything? Have I taken away your freedom or rights? Then what are you really complaining about? Because after your opinion I post mine and vice versa? That's called a debate not pissing on your freedom of speech.

I feel like a new man! Wow, it feels good to know that I'd "eat Obama's shit" and that I'm a "little prick with a huge ego." Awesome stuff, this is. Life-changing.

When did I say you eat shit? I mean if you do eat shit that's your business not mine but again I never said you ate anyone's shit. Did I say you are a little prick with a huge ego? I don't think so. Where you even goin with that?

Now, go play your card-game. I didn't care in the first place. That's what I posted.

Now if I could play my irrelevant, unimportant, card-game hobby ..... would I have even started this thread? :?

Like I said, I have all the time in the world to play with you kids.

The point was that 50 jobs isn't enough to change the unemployment rate in Altoona, let alone the country. You tried to cast your hobby as beneficial and important, by claiming 100,000 jobs. One job is better than none at all, but it's not really helping any more than say, bowling. That was my point, but you had to twist it so that it's an all-out assault on online poker.
As for stubbornness, I tried to walk away from your tirade, I even dismissed you with the obligatory, "You win, I don't care," but you and your mentor had to keep on needling.

The rights I so certainly have earned by going to work, and paying my taxes, and therefore being a productive member of society.

Once more, your hobby has the same gigantic effect on the economy as high-stakes darts, or billiards. You always had a right to play your little games, and you still can. Poker, darts, and/or billiards are still played in every bar in the country. Your personal rights are safe. I take issue with the importance of online poker, but who am I to argue with something you're still allowed to do.

And I thank you for all the FREEDOM you've given me in the last 48 hours, I thought posting my opinion that poker is just an avocation amounted to an... opinion, but you've shown me that only the opinions YOU ALLOW will be acceptable.

Note that I never removed your posts, either. I just keep reposting a repost of a repost, because you can't let me dis the importance of playing cards. Does that make me stubborn? Hell, yes it does. How's it feel?

Typical libertarian responses all 'round, I can say whatever I want unless it doesn't jive with your "rules." Thanks so much for the liberty, it feels really good to say whatever I want, inside the boundaries of your approval.

No, you keep rehashing posts, and adding the online equivalent of, "I know you are, but what am I?" That's not a debate, it's you satisfying your need to keep pushing until you get the last word. I've been "debating" like this for a decade. I know how it works.

I feel like a new man! Wow, it feels good to know that I'd "eat Obama's shit" and that I'm a "little prick with a huge ego." Awesome stuff, this is. Life-changing.

I'm "going" with your new friend and mentor, underachieverjoe. My reply was to BOTH of you, since BOTH of you are involved in this pitiful thread. Incidentally... did you stop Joe when he posted that stuff? Have you addressed his insane rants? If the answer is no, you must agree with them. (The answer is no.)

Now, go play your card-game. I didn't care in the first place. That's what I posted.

This is America, my friend, and I own a deck of cards. Maybe you can't play without money involved, but I can. Perhaps you can find a nice high-stakes game of Hungry Hungry Hippo online somewhere. They can't take that away from you, it's in the Constitution.

No apparantly he can't, so I'm gonna stick with my ORIGINAL response to all of this. You ARE one giant bag of douche!!

I'M NOT OUT TO SAVE THE ECONOMY! Are you really this fuckin' stupid?!!! That you can't get that VERY SIMPLE concept through your thick-ass head!!!!!!!! I've only said it 100 times already...but decided to try it in red in case your eyes can't read in yellow

Note that I never removed your posts, either. I just keep reposting a repost of a repost, because you can't let me dis the importance of playing cards. Does that make me stubborn? Hell, yes it does. How's it feel?

Dis the importance of it all you want. You keep arguing a statement I already agreed with you on....yes to you it's not important....I GET IT!!! Your point you were making (I guess...since you rarely actually make a point that has ANY legitimacy to it) is you have no freedom to make the same statement you have made 6-7 times already. And yet again I say show me where I have stopped that. You can't but your response will be "its not important". Can you answer a direct question FOR ONCE?!

No, you keep rehashing posts, and adding the online equivalent of, "I know you are, but what am I?" That's not a debate, it's you satisfying your need to keep pushing until you get the last word. I've been "debating" like this for a decade. I know how it works.

I rehash the same questions that for some reason you fail to answer. If that's your idea of debating then I'm going to get nowhere with you. Answer the questions FOR ONCE and I might not have to ask them repeatedly in an attempt to actually get a response.

Did I stop Joe?Nope. Have I stopped you? Nope. Do I agree with him? Well so far the majority of his responses have been .... "can you answer the guy's question for once?" And my answer is yes, I agree you can't.

So let's try and answer the following.......

Cut n Paste where i said I'm trying to save the economy and the planet with poker!

Cut n Paste where I have stopped your freedom from you from making ANY statements! No matter how much they are riddle in douche-baggery...show me with a SIMPLE cut n paste where I have STOPPED you.

2 questions....can you handle that?! All I want is a cut n paste copy of where I have done either of those.

So, another individual right to the pursuit of happiness is squashed by the jack-boot of government...I'm not sure what reason they give for this ban, but it probably rings well with soccer-moms, so it plays well in Peoria.

What's next? Where does it stop?

Liberal judges have already made a mockery of the right to property--one of the most basic and fundamental of human rights. I don't hear anybody saying:

"I may not agree with what you do with your property, but I will defend your right to do it."

How long will it be before free speech is a quaint memory?
...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...

[quote="lonewolf"]So, another individual right to the pursuit of happiness is squashed by the jack-boot of government...I'm not sure what reason they give for this ban, but it probably rings well with soccer-moms, so it plays well in Peoria.

Here's the reasons they state......

Gambling is addictive.
Money leaves our country to go to foreign countries.

And that's all the firepower they have, or apparently need, to make a judgement against online poker playing.

My answers to that are quite simple.....poker is no more addictive or harmful than cigarettes or alcohol yet the former is illegal and the latter is not.

Keep all online poker American-based. No offshore accounts, no offshore websites. Your money must remain in the USA and it must be used on an American-based website.

Now Songsmith's firepower has been, and repeatedly uttered is.....if it doesn't completely save the economy it's not worth discussing.

My response to that is.... Some help isn't better than NONE at all? But for some reason I can't get an answer to that question.....wonder why?
