What's stuck in your head?!
As of late I have had Ozzy's "Life Won't Wait" stuck in my head for weeks. It's a GREAT song and the video is really good too. You'll probably never see it on MTV, but with the power of youtube ....

For me, it's either the hook of whatever song I'm writing (which sucks, because I have to write verses, bridges, etc., too!), or the absolute worst thing I've heard in the short time before it starts playing incessantly. Now, that doesn't sound too bad, until you hear the setlist:
Oops I Did It Again, Britney.
Believe, Cher
Pants On The Ground, that Amer. Idol guy
Bicycle Built For Two, traditional
Down With O.P.P., (who even did that one?)
many, many more terrible songs, all sadly self-inflicted. Thank goodness, I don't let much of that seep into my actual songs. Okay, I have been using a lot of rap-style internal rhymes and high syllable counts in my stuff... but nothing too overt.

Cee Lo Green - Fuck You
As Fasterpussycat said, this song is just hook central! It's seriously nuts with how many hooks there are, on so many different levels! From the 60's/70's feel of the rhythm to lyrics we all sing along with, the whole song is just "I can't get enough of it until I've had WAAAY too much!"
Twisted & Used - Neverending Napalm
I got to see Twisted & Used recently, and had a lot of fun at the show. Seeing as I haven't been at many shows lately, that was a real treat to see the Plastered Bastards, Twisted & Used, and Samara together. But they came out and played this song, and it has a very simple harmony to it, which grabs me with a hell of a grip! The lyrics, what I can understand at least, have a good hold as well. But, Drew and Mandy aren't the easiest to understand, so I'm still listening, and thinking "What are they saying?". It happens in the metal world

I %$#^ing hate the show myself..they command HOURS of air time sometimes twice a week. arrghh!!f.sciarrillo wrote:I heard it on the radio today and it's been stuck every since.faster pussycat wrote:are you being serious? if you are hey..good for youf.sciarrillo wrote:This ->

Do any of these people ever really make the big time? Is being in last 3 or 5 an automatic ticket to stardom and riches? I as because as a true hater of POP music i don't follw their carrers.
Does anyone know if these contestants ever "have to work again"?
