A lot of people thought they were destined for greatness, but I am not sure why that did not happen. These are great rock and roll songs. They were produced by George Harrison and Todd Rundgren afterall. Looked it up, and its a sad story.f.sciarrillo wrote:Badfinger rocks!undercoverjoe wrote:Badfinger (sounds like a Mike Myers character)

My only regret is not being able to see Wishbone Ash in concert. I just don't remember them touring in the US much in the 70's. Did you ever see them moxham?moxham123 wrote:A song for my friend Undercoverjoe

Sorry to say I never saw Wishbone Ash in concert either. I would like to be able to go see them this coming Monday, May 16th at Moondog's in Blawnox (Pittsburgh) but don't think I can make it.undercoverjoe wrote:My only regret is not being able to see Wishbone Ash in concert. I played Throw Down The Sword in a band back in the mid 70s.

This goes back to that discussion, when only 1 member of the original band is left, it it really seeing the classic band? There is also some legal battles with another original member of WA over who owns the rights to the name. I am torn about going. I do not think they will sound like the original band, and do I want to hear what is almost a cover band.moxham123 wrote:Sorry to say I never saw Wishbone Ash in concert either.
