That is true, Joe.
Here is Running with the Devil. Great song. Van Halen in general are great.

The video is from 1983, but the song is from 1978.

Couldn't find a 70's vid of this but it is my favorite OMD song, Homemade Wine. We used to drink my mom's homemade wine, share some homegrown and listen to this song.

Not many people knew Rusty Weir. I have 4 great albums of his from the 70's. He opened for the Outlaws in 1976 at some college in upstate NY, and the crowd, who did not know him before the show, called him back for 2 encores!!! 2 encores from an obscure Texas band, before the Outlaws, who were bigger than sliced bread in 1976. You had to be there.
Could not find a 70's video, but this will do.

I own the original album, with the psychedelic cover art, had the 8 track, and now have it on CD. I think this is quintessential 70's hard driving rock and roll. Those songs are from their first album, which was dedicated to the memory of Duane Allman.moxham123 wrote:A couple great performances by Captain Beyond

Look at Wolfgang Jack and also look at his guitar. It is a Fender strat, left hand model, reversed. Mid you, the strings aren't reversed.

Not to be confused with this Fleetwood Mac, this lineup ended in 1970 I think when Peter Green left.
