I don't hate them persay....I hate that the Steelers played below their level yesterday. The only team I ever truely hated was the cowboys, and that's a long story in itself.
Go Eagles! Kick 'de Ass!
And for next year, GO Steelers! GO GreenBay! GO Eagles!

You guys gotta be kidding me with this.......
The Eagles are everything that's wrong with football, too much individual flash and strutting around doin the funky monkey in the endzone kinda crap. Football always has been, and always will be and should be a team sport Football ain't about bling bling it's about grunt grunt and doin what's neccessary for the team as a whole.
Payton Manning would have given up his TD Pass record to get to the Super Bowl, Jerome Bettis took less money for a chance at the SuperBowl and last year AT the Super Bowl the New England Patriots were not introduced as individuals but AS A TEAM.
In the Divisionals I was cheering for the Vikes (even though they are almost as bad, Randy Moss is an ass), Sunday I cheered for the Falcolns!
I hate the Eagles, HATE do you hear, and it would have been PERFECT for the Steelers to pound them in the Super Bowl but that was not to be so the Pats will do nicely.
Die Eagles Die, you suck forever
Go Pats

I wanted a PA bowl. Show we have the best teams. I can't stand the "bus" so my only cry about the Steelers losing is I wanted a PA bowl and now that will not happen.
I think the Eagles are going to put up a good fight against the pats, but IIRC before 01, the pats SUCKED and now they are doing so great.
I honestly don't think that their coach is that good, eh what do I know, I only watch playoff games.

We'll see how good Bill Belicheck is next year. His top 2 assisstants are leaving for head coaching jobs. We'll see if it was the staff or him. Either way, as a group, they outcoach everyone by leaps and bounds. They don't really have any superstars. Brady could be argued as one but, they are a well coached team, and that is what separates them. They are a true team.
But that being said, if they never won another game I would never feel pity for them. After watching them mock the Steelers and the fans with the NE Terrible Towel wave I hope when their down, they stay there.

I can't say I hate the Patriots, even after the AFC Championship game. As FatVin said, they play as a team, which is what I think the game should be about. I accept that they are the better team this year. If you're going to be "The Team," you have to beat "The Team." Right now, New England is "The Team," until somebody else can knock them off. The Steelers had their shot on Sunday, and it didn't happen.
I always tend to root for the underdog, so I'll be rooting for the Eagles in the Super Bowl, personalities and all. (Technically, they are still a Pennsylvania team, even if Philly is a suburb of New Jersey, lol!) New England will probably clobber them.
If Philly would happen to win, Donovan McNabb's mom will probably get her own daytime talk show on television, lol!

The Pats are my second favorite team. I was a fan of theirs for a couple of years now, before they got rid of Bledsoe. Actually; I was a fan of theirs before I was a Steelers fan. I will be rooting for them full throttle in the bowl. I hope they force the Filthydelphia Beagles into embarrassment.

I've heard the Pats being referred to as the classiest team in the NFL. If the Pats are so "classy" (and I use that term loosely when referring to any sports team) why do they continually mock the opposing team and it's fans on every good play? Not only did they go to Pittsburgh's fans and mock the terrible towels, they mocked the Eagles. I'm sure if the Colts had something they would have done that too. If you're going to be an ass, at least be original. Hines Ward already slapped TO in the face.
Class is Barry Sanders. He never once mocked anyone or danced in the end zone. And he was the greatest player on the field.

Finally, someone points out how CLASSLESS New England is. I have no problem with celebrating a big play (TD, huge sack, turnover), that doesn't bother me, but those dillholes did the "Eagle Flap" after practically every play last night. In the Steelers game, PH is right, they whipped towels in a mockery of our team and fans the whole damn game. It never bothers me if my team loses to a better team, but to lose to a classless bunch of bums who know how good they are sucks.
It sucks for the sport, not just for the fans of the losing team. If I were a Pats fans (perish the thought) I'd be embarrassed about how they carry themselves. Come to think of it, I wouldn't be a Pats fan anymore.

You could think of it as classless. I think of it as finally getting what they deserve. If you look back, new England used to be one of the worst teams in the NFL. Now that they are were they want, they are taking it for all it is worth. I think anyone would be doing the same thing, maybe not in the same capacity, but doing it none the less. I still like them. I won't stop being a fan because of them finally doing right. Of course I am a steelers fan first though ....
