All elections come down to a giant douche or a turd sandwich. It's a lose/lose either way. I still vote anyway.
Thank you, South Park, for telling it like it is and helping us to laugh at something that is pathetically sad.

A better adage would be that if you didn't work on the campaign of a candidate in order to help get them into a general election, then don't bitch about what the government does. As JD so eloquently quoted Southpark, sometimes there just isn't much of a choice between Candidate A and Candidate B.f.sciarrillo wrote:I am a strong believer in the adage that if you didn't vote, then don't bitch about what the government does.
Ironically, he also once owned a baseball team.Keith wrote:He couldnt even be a batboy for the special olympics teeball team...and was elected president TWICE.
But as much as I'm not a big fan of Bush, it's kind of become pointless to continue to criticize his Presidency as a lot of the people on the left still do. He left office with a huge mess in America - some of it legitimitely his fault, some of it unfairly thought to be his fault. We need to push forward.

Bin Laden has been dead for 10 years. Obama used this ruse as a trump card to take the eyes of the US away from the role he played in NATO’s killing of Gaddafi's son and 3 Grandchildren the day before Bin Laden was "killed"
He is also gearing up to run again in 2012. He needs as much help as possible to divert public opinion back in his favor, rather than seeing him as the country's worst President ever.
The US government is completely corrupt. I, for one, ain't fallin' for it!!

Can you prove them to be fact? If he died 10 years ago, they Taliban is being rather slow with the retaliation threats. The compound he was killed in was built in 2005, I guess the US government killed him 10 years ago, then moved his body to the compound and let it sit there and stink the place up for six years? lolundercoverjoe wrote:Can you disprove them?f.sciarrillo wrote:I find all these conspiracy theories to be rather humorous.

When you fail to reject a null hypothesis, it doesn't mean that the null hypothesis is necessarily true.undercoverjoe wrote:Can you disprove them?f.sciarrillo wrote:I find all these conspiracy theories to be rather humorous.

I think it a good philosophy to doubt everything this government tells you.
Gas at $3.99 and takes 9% of an average family's budget, unemployment up to 9% again, the dollar at all time low, 1 out of 7 Americans on food stamps, an all time high, but jump for joy, we killed someone who has been irrelevant for 10 years.
Got distraction?

Family members of the 2000+ dead from 9/11 might not be too pleased with that statement. I know, I know, fuck em right?

Really, Joe, you too? A Deather? I really had you pegged smarter.
Joe, the legs fell from under the oil market yesterday, expect a sharp gasoline price decrease in 2 weeks or less, 15-25% is what I saw in the media yesterday. Due to lack of demand and bin Laden. Who gave the order to kill him, again?
The 9% number is because 200,000-plus jobs were created just last month, and people who've been out of work for a long time are actively looking. Ag jobs and tourism hit this month, too. It's seasonal, but it's not a net loss, like the Bush years.
I'm seeing one in EIGHT on food stamps (39.68 million). Those also go to the working-poor as well, who make up a large percentage of those below the poverty line. I know the working-poor don't exist over on your side of the aisle, but they work really crappy jobs so somebody else can make a lot of money. I know this, because I grew up below the poverty line, never left it until well into adulthood. That's why I live such a humble lifestyle now, I don't need much, so survival is easy. Anyway, Joe, you don't support a damn one of them being on foodstamps anyway, so your lament that people need that much help, falls on deaf ears.

Whatever name you get off on giving to people I ignore. I just do not trust this government. Do you really think there was one magic bullet that took out Connelly and Kennedy in 63. The government says so.songsmith wrote:Really, Joe, you too? A Deather? I really had you pegged smarter.

BTW:
I grew up in a family of 10 on a small family farm. Talk about poor as a church mouse. Our barn burned in 64 and was barley insured. Oh, we saw some lean times. Good thing we had older cousins for the hand me downs. I didn't wear new clothes until I got a job at 16 and bought my own. So I know both sides of the aisle, don't hand me that crap. You are not the only one who was poor.

Its getting boring correcting you this often.
If you understand the poor, why do you hate them? Did you see the poor as second-class then, too? And if you were poor, as a libertarian Ayn Rand-type, did you accept that you were poor because you deserved it? Have you ever walked that walk up to the teacher for your free school-lunch ticket, did you like that? Did you think, "I want to be poor forever!" or, "Why work, when I can do this?" Do you really think everyone thinks that way?

The whole deather thing's very hard to swallow since al qaeda has admitted bin laden's death:
http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/0 ... index.html
Please...I want to hear the triple plot-twists that explain that!
As much as I consider Obama to ba an ultra-left, socialist, paper-hanging SOB who couldn't govern his way out of a wet paper bag, I seriously doubt that al qaeda is working on the campaign to re-elect.

Just because you think I hate some group does not make that a reality. I do not see anyone as first class or any other class. Those are your thoughts that you try to impose on someone else. There is no deserve. I worked hard and became un poor.songsmith wrote:If you understand the poor, why do you hate them? Did you see the poor as second-class then, too? You weren't paying attention a few years back when I told you how this works. We already know what gas will cost in June from the RBOB futures contracts. The June contract is presently at $3.125 per gallon. In Pennsylvania, you add roughly 70 cents to that and that's the price at the pump.songsmith wrote:Joe, the legs fell from under the oil market yesterday, expect a sharp gasoline price decrease in 2 weeks or less, 15-25% is what I saw in the media yesterday. This June, the typical price for a gallon of gas in PA will be around $3.79...give or take a dime. How does that fit with the talking heads you saw on TV?

Of course! What reason would any elected official have for not revealing this? It could have changed the course of history, Iraq wouldn't have happened, with it's high cost and loss of life, not even counting the effect it would have had on Al Qaeda groups, the Taliban, Indo-Pakistani relations, the US economy, election outcomes, even govt budgeting. This would have been win-win for Clinton, Bush, and anyone else involved.
