I like where he's coming from, but I just can't take him seriously. It's like a SNL skit.

Plus one. How do you possibly bankrupt a freaking casino?lonewolf wrote:He was on the board and lent his name to several companies that went belly up over the years. I never considered him a very good manager. His only talent is that he's a fast talker who knows how to obtain and spend other people's money.
Hahaha-basically he's saying our president and his admin. SUCKS!!! We got all this shit going on within the country and what's he do? Goes on the Oprah show!! WTF!!!!!!!!undercoverjoe wrote:He is not afraid to say the emperor has no clothes. None of the other major republicans seem to have the balls to do just that.

And after the Oprah show, he did 3 fundraisers. Just before he flew to go see Oprah he said he has important things to do. That was at the press conference where he produced to bogus birth certificate. Country is going to shit, and all he cares about is raising money for his next election.
Sort of like liberals liking free speech only when they agree with you. (how they want to control talk radio, even when there is no market for liberal radio)songsmith wrote:Man, this sucks. You're allowed to post political stuff, but I get sh*t for it. And I made a special effort.
Well, that's "freedom" for you. Some people think you only have the freedom to do and say what they want to hear.
No market for liberal radio? Roll across your radio dial. How many stations do NOT play rightwing talkshows? Now switch to FM, and do the same. How many of those stations do NOT play rightwing shows? In fact, both wingnut stations put together could not come close to the listenership of nearly ANY FM station regardless of their format.undercoverjoe wrote:Sort of like liberals liking free speech only when they agree with you. History will judge at least as accurately as the mental think tank on Rockpage.
God, you like the sound of your own keyboard. Can you tell me where one can find liberal radio around here? Didn't the last major try at a national liberal radio show fall flat on its face, owning money, and filing for bankruptcy?songsmith wrote:No market for liberal radio? Roll across your radio dial. Same goes for Fox News. Sure, the nimrods need their propaganda, so Fox has the highest ratings in cable-talk, BUT... Spongebob regularly beats Fox News, and they can't touch a primetime show on say, NBC. Note also that Beck's ratings down 35% on the year, Palin not getting renewed, Trump's Apprentice off more than 60% from the season opener... heck even the Blair County Tea Party Tax Day Rally: attendance down a whopping 75%, on a beautiful spring afternoon. Face it, once there was talk of ending SocSec, Medicare and Medicaid, and public schooling; once the Birthers took over and folks realized there was no GOP jobs bill; once people noticed that the richest were getting all the breaks... people started turning away. Add the Tea Party vs. establishment GOP factionalization, and it's not looking good for 2012, kiddies.
Oh, hey, there it is! I can still take on a half-dozen poopy-diapers at the same time. I forgot for a day or two that Rockpage doesn't belong to the wing-nuts, and I can say whatever the f**k I want! How about that! Bring the noize!
No Joe, Fix it, cool. Wanting to eliminate it, not cool.undercoverjoe wrote:Hawk, whenever anyone starts talking about fixing Medicaid, Medicare or Social Security, the democrats say they want to hurt children, and starve grandma, and throw grandpa out of the hospital. Fearmongering???
The democrats are just as good at creating fear and hatred of their opponents as are the republicans.
Bill, it is going to eliminate itself if something is not done soon. That is hard to do when the dems yell that your are killin grandma every time. The dems will see the program fail without fixing it, using fear and hatred.Hawk wrote:No Joe, Fix it, cool.
