Japan Benefit

Post by evolanji »

Hi everyone,

I am in the works of putting together a benefit for Japan. The event will be on June 4th, their will be a silent auction, 50/50s , and of course the main event which is with the help of local musicians. The event will be benefitting the Japan Relief Fund. Unfortunitly I had 3 bands drop on me within the past 2 weeks due to having memebers not able to attend. I am in need of help from you guys. Any local bands that would want to participate please please contact me asap. I plan on lots of advertising for the event itself so that in itself is a pirk but it's also a great oppurtunity to play with local talent while helping out those in need!! The event will be held at 30 Something and some of the bands signed on are Samara, On Dying Days, Naildriver. The genre is not limited and would like a variety so everyone comming out gets to expierence different types of music. Please guys message me with any questions , I would like to raise as much monay as we can as a community!

I'm not going to disagree with you on the local charities, I am active in different community charities, constantly getting on peoples nerves about food drives, community projects, goods for the womens shelters and other things. My suggestion would be instead of nocking on a benefit why don't you take the time and do something to help someone in your community ! April 28th is national Pay It Forward day..... R u going to participate!?!?!

Wow, so much negativety, I will say this is what's wrong with the world , you think it's to feel good about ones self, wrong outlook on life, you are suppost to do things for others not for self glorification but to help others because that should just be second nature... Selfish Selfish people, disgust me....

Wow wrong context!!! If you have the means to help people and you fell good about doing that then go for it.
