Jeff Wallack Memorial Jam

Post by onegunguitar »

Anyone have any idea what bands are on the bill this year? It's less than a month away and no one seems to know who's playing. Would be nice to know what's up so the bands can help promote the show

Scott, what is the date of the memorial? Would like to try and keep that open so we can go. Thanks Brian ( The Hawks )

Wasn't it always at Aldo's? Does anyone know which bands are playing? I hope they leave room for a big jam.

They switched it to 30 Something for this year, since Jeff's bands used to play at New Sebastiano's and the old Sebastiano's Hotel as well as Aldo's. They did it there before, I think the second or third year.

I don't know the band line-up yet, except for a Shattered China reunion. Three of the organizers/musicians involved will be on the March 20 "Homegrown Rocker" to discuss all the details.

Only a few days away, I just wanted to remind everyone that tickets are available at Music Emporium. $5 or $8 at the door, usually a very large crowd! Great lineup of bands, and if want to help, I'm sure we can find something (just ask, I'll be on the door). All the prizes have been donated, so proceeds go directly to the Jeff Wallach Memorial Jam Scholarship. What a great way to remember an awesome dude-helping a college music student.
